Hey all, so my plants (White Widow) are exactly 3 weeks old and they’re only 3in tall. I’m new to growing but think they should be bigger, am I correct in thinking this? I’d appreciate some advice, thanks all!
Can someone tell this Newb why plants are still small

I agree with @Craigson's observation, soil seems to be to hot nute wise for such a young plant. But just don't add extra nutes for a few weeks and they will pull through. White Widow is a very resilient strain, more than most. I got my biggest yeild from a WW and she got all fucked up by hail, rain, wind and all. Got 6 zips outta a 5 gallon pot in the end of a summer light dep. After it cured it put my dick in the dirt!

they look good other than slight over feed poss ? give just water for a feed or in between . they look okay to me

Yeah, I know as I fuc*ed up and fed em last week, damn newbies lol. Plus I just transplanted from Solo’s to 1 gallon so was wondering if maybe they got a little shocked

Bear in mind that while you can't see much happening above the soil, they might be having an explosive growth of roots beneath it.

They may have been slightly root bound just before leaving the cups. Clones and small seedlings tend to only get so big in cups due to the roots filling the cups and it almost stops them in their tracks as far as top growth.. after too long they will also start to show what seems like nutrient issues.. but really it’s their roots aren’t able to take in anything since they are all coiled up at the bottom of the cup.
They look healthy to me, and if at 3 weeks they should be taking off very soon.

Thanks. They had good root system but luckly weren’t root bound, maybe a lottle transplant shock tho as that was the 1st time ive ever done that. Just gotta learn and get better

What lighting are you using? I've had bigger plants in solo cups in about 2 weeks.

They’ll be going into 5 gallon when ready. Now they’re under 1200w led and 4 6500k cfl’s and I got lucky woth my setup and there’s no shadowing

I F’d up and fed up too soon and think it slowed em dwn. The last couple days I’ve noticed some good new growth so I think they might have gotten a lottle shocked as it was my 1st time and sure I didn’t do it correctly, but learn from my mistakes
