Hello fellow growers I had a question. I currently fubared cloning some females currently in bloom and instead of doing a conventional reveg of keepers I was wondering if tissue culturing them instead would be a viable option to preserve them? I figured that instead of waiting 10 plus weeks revegging I could better use that time just tissue culturing them

Tissue culturing could work, but tissue culture is orders of magnitude harder than cloning.

Yes. Even with the auto flower varieties if i'm not mistaken..

Apparently, you can even cut freshly pollenated & undeveloped seed embryos out before they fully form, and grow them out via TC, saving loads of time and resources when breeding, etc. I think there are ways to find out the sex, and possibly even the traits it will express too, months in advance! Game changer for breeding purposes?..

I heard about this and thought that's a great way keep genetics you like without a house full of plants, but the kits i saw were $2500ish. Noped that idea real quick.

There is hundreds of companies that will do the work for you and send you refreshed new genetics, last I check it wasn’t bad around 100$ and you can pull your genetics from their library many different times
