Can you get any clones from flowering plants around week 4? Lower branches?

This guy did. His plants look pretty awful.

This old Canadian gent does but he is taking em from Mothers. The ones I am doing are not mothers.

Thanks.

I did to save some genetics ( week 8 ) it took another 8 weeks to reverse to veg . 4 weeks later pulled 3 clones ,4 weeks later 4 more clones and flowered the original. But while I was waiting popped more beans and flowered those with the first 3 clones. And there was no bad side effects on the clones .

It took 23 days to show root's.

It's actually call monster cropping. You can do it no problem, you just have to make sure it's a good cut. It can take 1-3 extra weeks for it to fully root up since it has to revert back to veg but when it does it will shoot nodes out in every direction. This was between 4-5 weeks after taking the clone, can't guarantee it'll work for everyone but it's definitely worked for me on several occasions

yea i have an OG pheno i clone from monster crop over and over. I'm pretty much tired of it at this point because i would just like some uniformity in the node spacing. other than that i say its quite awesome for growing quick bushes

i actually tried my best to mainline the plant in flower now but i came out more of a bonsai tree than anything

to OP, they tend to look awful for the first first weeks of revegging but that is because there are numerous nodes within the bud that are all trying to branch out at once.

Just to be clear - I am not wanting to take the whole plants out of flower and reveg. I want to take clippings off plants that are about 4 to 5 weeks into flower to make clones. Clippings in veg are usually pretty easy to find on the plant. Flower it is harder.

I took this clone at about week 5. It has taken almost 2 months to root, transplant up and start growing normal branches and leaves.

Now I will take some normal looking clones and keep running this plant perpetually.

This was my 1st reveg. It was very neat to watch progress. The plants hormones get wacky and it looks crazy for a while.

I forgot to add that I cut lower side shoot branches. They were about 5 inches long and had little buds.

I'll leave a few lower branches when I trim her up to go into flowering so I have nodes I can take that aren't going to produce much if left thru flowering. I kinda like how the hormones go bat shit crazy and nodes just shoot out in every direction possible

I take all of my clones at 4ish weeks of flower. They grow into amazing mother plants. I took 34 clones off of mine two days ago.

What's up Bowtieguy. Do your normally use this method for taking all of your clones? My main question is. I myself was in a jam and took clones the 4th week of flowering. Truthfully, I hate how they are growing at the moment. They are about 2 weeks into the reveg. Do you think I can go ahead and flower them and still have normal bud formation? I've never don't this so that is why I am asking. Below is what they look like now. Any tips would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

I would wait another week or two until the new leaf growth stabilize and starts the normal leaf growth. I tried it the first time to save a strain I thought I had more seed of. It takes longer to revert back to veg, grow new growth, and stabilize back out but in my opinion it is well worth it for mother plants or trees either way. For a SOG type grow I think it would take to long to reveg and then flip. I like it because I grow a smallish number of large plants.
