I transplant out of the solo cups once the roots are coming out the bottom holes or the plants leaves are overflowing the cup

First set of leaves is over flowing. No roots out of the bottom yet. I was thinking about waiting for the roots to pop out the bottom. Didn’t want a fragile stem for transplanting. And by that I mean a thin one.

So hey! Can any of my neighbors to the north give a quick rundown on how legal cannabis is working out? Numbers, issued licenses, etc... Or post links to some data or articles? I'm down here in Oregon and between us, Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii we have the west coast pretty much covered. We have somewhat of a mess down here with some states being legal and others not. Just recently we had a guy trucking a bunch of hemp from Oregon to Colorado get stopped in Idaho which is not a legal state and get tossed in jail and charged. Another guy from Oregon got eight years in prison after getting caught with three pound s of what he claimed was medical marijuana for his own use. Crazy stuff but you guys are legal everywhere so you won't have those issues.
Just curious how it's rolling out up there.

You should really have an oscillating fan going 24/7 to be constantly moving the seedling gently around. You don't want a steady stream of air aimed right at it.
How big a pot is it in now? Best to transplant when the plant has a decent rootball going to hold everything together and do that when the soil is quite dry so it stays together better.
Can bury it a bit deeper so the stem isn't so long too. Have you got room to add soil to the pot it's in now?
Don't worry about those baby leaves. They normally die off and aren't of much use once a sprout has a good set of true leaves on it.

Legal to grow 4 plants but you have to use gov't approved seeds or clones and none are available or are crap you don't want. So basically still illegal to grow your 4 plants and that's 4 per house, not per adult.
Cops can now demand a breathalyzer for no reason and if in a province that uses this useless pot tester from a mouth swab can demand that too. Refuse and get the same penalties as if you were impaired.
Pot in the car is like an open beer. Keep it in the trunk and you better be able to prove it was bought legally or you're busted. 30g per person for possession in public.
14 years max for supplying pot to a minor. Small fine if it's booze.
14 again for making oils with flammable solvents. Time to get that critical CO2 unit.
Whole bunch of other new repressive laws added as well. Legalization it ain't.
There is a critical shortage of 'legal' pot with huge facilities coming on line over the next year so eventually there will be a glut and then hopefully prices will drop but I doubt they will. Mostly crap available and medical patients have found all there favorites have got sold off in the stoner market so nothing for them as well.
Alberta here has the most stores but they can't get product so are suffering.
That's gonna get rid of the black market for sure.
TheLeafNews.com is a good spot to see what's going on up here. Single mom with MS busted for testing over 5ng with the swab thing. Had to have her young child picked up as her car was being towed. Hundreds of dollars later to get it back a week later. Ontario I think.
As a med patient I'll for sure fail a blood test but would probably be OK with the swab as I never smoke pot during the day and it has to be withing a few hours of toking for it to work. I don't even take pot with me when we are out for the day.
I have a doctor's recommendation for 12g/day so if I filed to grow I'd be legal for 59 plants indoors but don't want to be on the gov't hit list so will just keep doing what I've been doing here for almost 20 years and watch the show from the sidelines. Almost as funny as a Trump rally if they weren't both so tragic. lol

I’ll post a pic later. There is room to add soil in the solo cup. I don’t have a fan blowing in one direction. I have a heater that comes on occasionally and does oscillate. I don’t have a fan running 24/7 because of temperature issues in the tent. A fan running all the time was keeping it too low. So that’s why I use the heater that’s hooked to a thermostat. Plant is no where near dry. It was just watered on the 13th. It still remains in a solo cup.
I do want to transplant soon and start running my 400watt MH to speed up growth. I don’t think it needs the small LED bulb anymore.

A fan running in the tent to circulate the air shouldn't raise or lower the temperature. Just keeps it moving and an even temp all over.
I'm not talking about an exhaust fan. Just one to move air around in the tent.
You could use the 400 now but start about 18" above the top. I use 400s then a 1000 for growing but prefer to have a bunch of plants so I don't waste so much light and power for one little plant. I still use fluoros to grow them until they are up to a foot tall and bushy before sparking up a 400.

That’s my thought. I don’t wanna use the MH yet. I don’t have an oscillating fan. I do have a small fan that doesn’t oscillate that I could hook up.
I do need new soil though for when I transplant. Was hoping to grab organic promix. I have promix seedling starter soil but rather save that for the clones I intend to take.
Well it looks like I’ll be topping this girl soon and clipping a few clones. I think I’m going to transplant this weekend. Soil still a bit wet but the roots are coming out of the bottom of the soll cup. Some parts of my fan leaves are curling again though. Any idea why?

Curling like that is generally a sign of heat stress and could quite likely be from your heater. I would take it off oscillate and aim it away from the plant and just use your other fan to help spread the heat around and keep the air moving. Or at least aim it so it doesn't hit the plant as that moving air is pretty hot. I flick my little ones around with a finger to toughen up the main stem. I actually bat them around good so they look a little beat up right after and may be leaning over.

Oh yeah I wanted to add to the guy who posted a few posts above about keeping pot in your trunk and you better be able to prove it’s purchased legally.
Now what if you see growing from legal seeds? How do you prove the weed you have on your person was in fact home grown, within your 4 plant limit, wth LP seeds? You can’t. Another shit show. I don’t think they are enforcing the “bought from illegal source” unless you are seen walking out of a illegal dispensary. I’ve has clients pulled over several times for pot being readily available. Never hit with the purchase illegally. Only hit with the readily available. Nonetheless still a shit show.

BTW for everyone doing all this crazy shit to start clones, I took 10 on NOV 24th, did nothing but put them in a cup of water. No dome, no misting, no nothing. I changed the tap water once a week and had 9-10 take root. They took from 3-5 weeks! But they all rooted lol. I know real growers can’t wait 5 weeks lol. But just goes to show you don’t need anything fancy.
