LOL It'll never happen, I dunno I guess woke liberalism propaganda has you believing in calling Canadians terrorists, selling out your soul to the Chinese, and believing Angus Reid polls done exclusively in Cities. Trudeau and Singh are traitors and neither of them would stand a chance in an election held today. Check out the demographics in the 95% of Canada. There is hope for Canadians who don't have manbuns, furry kids and electric toy cars. We're sick of the lies especially after the last 2 years of forced paranoia, profiteering from politicians, and questionable health officials, advising young Canadians to unnecessarily risk their own health for something 'the powers that be' monetarily benefit from. Freeland couldn't answer a direct question from a schoolage child. The only transparency this gov't has is their own 'patriotism'. Yeah I voted for him first time around for two thing, to stop kids being busted and legally growing my own weed. Tried dispensary 'hash' (as if), and will never give them another chance, Once burned twice shy.

Are we allowed to talk about covid, the vaccine and the restrictions put on our citizens here? Leading into the freedom rally and the decleration of war against our own peaceful (yet persistant) protesters? Traitors yes, a PM who owns a large amount of shares in a nano-particle tech company which benefitted greatly having their patented technology in the vaccines, which has made our PM filthy rich? Or the clear answers given by Ms. Freeland during the hearings? Where does the most left leaning Canadian among you want to start? Please I'm listening.

Let's see, public health is a provincial affair according to the constitution, not really a federal one, except for companies who operate interprovincially or internationally. All the restrictions were lifting when the idiots started protesting freedumb. Maybe you have trouble blaming DoFo? He was in charge of public health in Ontario at the time. Yer believing bullshit I'm afraid and were made a sucker of, just like foxnews viewers in the states, policy was already changing in Canada and most of the western world before the idiots showed up in Ottawa. Well at least the Americans idiots paid for the party with online funding.

I don't approve of that profane flag, but some may remember JT's dad using it on 2 occasions IN parliament. I believe it was a hit back at that Fuddle Duddle and Clucking faster? Remember those eventful lies and the tape to prove otherwise. I am disappointed the profane flag waivers didn't show up for the perfectly timed election but whatever. I have never failed to vote in an election since I turned 18 40 years ago. I don't approve of swearing in front of children, and I didn't attend the protest, btw.

The people that live there would disagree it was peaceful. It stopped being a protest quite quickly, and the majority of Canadians opposed them.

Ford made quite a bit of cash too, with the floor stickers, and he declined to attend the hearing, so there's that. In no way am I stating that covid was not a real virus. Why though was there an uneven distribution of deaths, namely central African nations and say Papua New Guinea areas with very low vaccination rates. My daughter had a baby in Sept. 2021, so no vaccine approved. No one of my kids late 20's were vaxed, and as my and my wifes parents have passed, we had no need to endanger the sensitive population, and followed ALL restrictions. We all worked and didn't get CERB. The baby got covid 3 times and we all, except wifey, had it twice. In our jurisdiction north of T.O. there were NO deaths at all in the 55 and under age group, yet my daughter in-laws coworker (licenced vet) got myo and peri, he almost died and his life is changed forever. So just going from experience and researched facts. HKPR health authority still will not release any figures from their main cardiac wards. So who is peddling BS? I don't watch American news either.

Almost everyone in Ottawa works for the government who was threatening employees already. Majority of Canadians? Don't think so, but the story about foreign sponsorship, terrorism, and a truck full of weapons were false and retracted by the media outlet within 2 days, yet Freeland still perpetuates the lie. People were mad, and our leader was a coward.

Well, there is no conspiracy and vaccines are proven to be safe and effective, so it's either get one or roll the dice and go natural, either way you will have some immunity. The covid vaccines were very effective when introduced, but the virus mutated away from them and became more contagious each time it did. Natural selection favors contagion and it became one of the most infectious diseases known, at first the public health measures were effective, but it became so infectious they were mostly dropped. In Canada it was more of an age divide on covid than a political one, the young and horny wanted their freedom, time passes slowly for younger people and from 17 to 20 years old seems like forever compared to how older people experience time.

Vaccines save lives, even young ones. This has been repeatedly proven, over and over and over again. I'll refrain from making any further comments about that.

Of course, you aren't talking about mRNA vaccines are you? Of course not. I have every vaccine, including optional hep shots, all mine are up to date including tetanus. I'm not anti-vax at all just anti this new untested rushed through vaccine, one that the narrative evolved faster than the virus. It was a terrible virus, and no 'curve' was flattened by vaxxing. Has your local hospital increased the number of ventilators in the last couple years? Remember how important they are for serious cases survival rate?
I'm implying his laziness or following along with the narrative by not lifting restrictions was of personal financial benefit to him and the other shareholders. So at least a conflict of interest there.

Improved treatment including cheap supportive medications greatly reduced the demand for ventilators and once they need a ventilator the prognoses was not good, the idea was to keep them off one with improved treatment protocols and antiviral medications still work and at-risk people are given them. The virus evolved over time both in contagion and in symptoms, the more contagious varieties had less of a tendency to go into the lungs and stuck around the nose and throat more, making them more contagious, contagion wins Darwin's race, not virulence.
