There is something to that (coughing in the laundry room) because that shit stays around on hard surfaces for up to 17 days.[QUOTE
Again, too early to tell. We immediately refinanced everything so that was huge. But as I said in the very first posts, this is another shift of monies to the 1%. But yeah, I’m going to be ok, my family is going to be ok. We don’t fear for our financial future but we’ve obviously lost a lot. Like a decade of hard work wiped out. My real stress is from worrying about keeping my employees employed and dealing with idiots who think their broken oven is an emergency when their stove top still works. Residents want us to start policing laundry rooms because some idiot was coughing while doing a load etc.
But I am glad that you and your family will be able to be safe and financially secure during this pandemic. I wish your workers the best too, this shit is dangerous and is a serious risk for people the more they come in contact with others.
But I would also say that you might end up in a very nice position once this pandemic starts to retreat to take advantage of the loans and need of banks to start getting capital lent out super cheaply since you have the equity to take advantage of.
Sure it is not as great as it could be if you got exactly what you were expecting and then used that excess to take advantage of so many peoples suffering, but it doesn't mean you won't (relatively) be able to come out well ahead after this crisis ends.
