Canna coco

When I grow in coco I use 100% coco and blumats. I never have any runoff the entire grow and I don't flush. My plants stay healthy and the weed tastes great when I grow that way.

There is a lot of old and wrong information about growing in coco on the internet.

I don't use perlite or water until runoff but the majority of cannabis sites say that you need to. There is one popular coco site that I won't mention by name but I'm sure most know which one I'm talking about that is just full of incorrect information when it comes to growing in coco. Most of it is just outdated cut and paste from old websites.

You make coco work without feeding to runoff because you keep your coco wet/moist. I'm guessing you feed a low EC as well.

Doing those two things will prevent a salt build up and not require a DTW runoff feedings.

When you going to do a full grow journal? Sounds like you grow only perfect plants ever and I’d love to follow along to learn as well.

I don't do journals. I've posted pictures of healthy plants filling the tent with large buds, For the last couple of years I have been focusing on seed preservation, making crosses, and a couple of years long breeding projects. Mostly growing landraces and long flowering sativas that sometimes can be difficult to grow and sometimes have issues. I've also started transitioning over to organic soil I build myself and making FPJ, SST, IMO, etc... and no commercial fertilizers. The results have not been stellar but have been getting better each grow. I'll have that mastered just like I mastered hydro and coco. I see no reason to post pictures of plants that may have issues and not always look very nice because I'm experimenting with a growing method I've just started to adopt.

And no my plants are not always perfect. Anyone that claims that is lying. I just don't freak out over a couple spots on a leaf and post a thread asking "What's wrong?. I know plants are not perfect. I let them grow. If there are imperfections that just the way it is.

Some people grow for different reasons like yield and are focused on squeezing every last bit of GPW out of their grow. I don't care about any of that. I understand why some do and that's fine. I'm happy vegging under my T5 and flowering under a 600 watt HPS. It provides me with more smoke than I need. I grow different strains every grow and make seeds every grow. I also supply numerous friends with starts and seeds.

I've seen your grows they are pretty damn good and I'm impressed. You grow for your reasons and if you want to make a journal to show your growing that's perfectly fine. I just don't see any need to document my recent grows of small seeded plants on a regular basis.

Right now I'm more focused on my vegetable garden and flowers. I have jars of cannabis. The flower tent gets shut down for the summer and I'll just take a break and grow some freebie autos outdoors in pots. But I won't be making a journal for people to follow along. I know how to grow cannabis and many other plants. My hands have been in the dirt for over 50 years. I have nothing to prove to anyone and don't even care what they think.

This is what I'm currently doing. I reversed a Thai Dominant Golden Tiger and am waiting for the pollen to drop so I can pollinate another clone I took and make feminized seeds. I recently finished a Night Nurse reversal and plants from those seeds are growing in people's backyards right now.. For me cannabis is a byproduct of a hobby I enjoy and I'm more interested in learning more about plant science, nutrition, soil biology, plant breeding, etc... than I am about growing a room full of plants with big cola's so I can post pictures online.

Not much to look at but many seem to have difficulty reversing a female plant. I have 100% success because I understand the science behind it and gaining that knowledge is more important to me than anything else. And the yellow leaves? Well it looks pretty damn good for being sprayed with STS numerous times because I've learned how to do it and I mix my own chemicals. So mock me all you want. You've been doing it for awhile. I don't really care. I'm not going to get all pissy about it and start calling names. In fact I click "Like" on many of your posts because they are good posts. Well looks like I wrote a book. Now go take some more pictures of your grow to post in your journal. :peace:

Weird because the last 3 pics I’ve seen you post have been yellowed out, mediocre plants.

You’re always the first person to hop on a new or old member about over feeding. I call bullshit of you growing in coco with 0 runoff and not have issues arise. But hey what do I know about coco growing.

You're memory seems to be failing because on more than one occasion you have made the comment "You're posting those same photos" when I posted pictures. Lets not get into the fact that you post the same pictures in almost every thread. That's not even worth discussing.

But since you seem hell bent on just trying to discredit me I'll post some of my yellow plants. These are older photos of plants growing in 100% coco using blumats. I'm not currently growing this way. Where is the yellow.

You really need to get laid.
