Can't get honeycomb just amber shatter need help

What's up guys I'm fairly new to extracting and I'm having a problem
i can't get honeycomb. I've made a couple I runs now purging out in the sun till all the liquid butane as evaporated then I scrape it up on to parchment paper. Then I put in my vac chamber at room temp till stable.
Then I float my jar in 115-125 degree water and purge at full vac for 4 to 6 hrs and still am getting shatter don't know what I'm doing wrong please help

its not a matter of checking out, its something you should actually read, there is some side convos that make up a little bit of the thread, but most of it is all good info about different ways of doing it and different ways that didnt work at all doing it. but if you want honey comb and you read that and still cant make honey comb there is nothing we can do for you unless wen went to your house..
start from post 1 and catch up to the rest of the class <--- we need one that looks like a gold dab lol.

yes the first 10 pages you will have the info you need to get honeycomb. i would read on though, alot of people put info in on it so it has alot of different ideas out there.

You gotta pull full vac and release several times over an extended time frame.

It's gotta have enough time in chamber to develop the pockets of air that compose the&#8221; honey-comb&#8221; effect.

haha! want in on a little secret?

instead of just seeing 10 posts per page, you can crank it up to 40 per page. (much better)


on the top right, go to " my roll it up"

then go down to "general settings" on left

go down to "number of posts to show per page"

and adjust!

how many batches have you gone through? heat does play a good key. but sometimes our material is so fragile, or on the crusp of decarboxilation that it just turns to perma goo rather easily under low heat. so you gotta go even lower!

i do believe in vacs repeated over and over though. or some how figuring out how to just let enough air in while vacuuming to de gas it

I maybe mixed up threads/forums, as I thought the OP was using temps below 100°..

I post on a couple different forums...haha

So... I would shoot about for temps at 110°..

I have a infomercial Nu-wave induction cook top, extremely accurate temps...cost was only 90$

Digital increments of 10°...most accurate by far.

Do you want a moist wax or a dry crumble honey-comb can be achieved in both forms.

Remember...
Strains play a HUGE roll in what your raw oleoresin will be.

Strains that contain high CBN levels will be more apt to shatter. Strong Indica strains almost always yields an earwax, chunky and tan or brown.

High powered Sativa strains have a tendency to yield a lighter colored , fluffy budder type consistency.

All that being said..through further refining, you can alter the final outcome.

Oh..btw... Never go anywhere near over 140° for any extensive period...this ALWAYS leads to the perma-goo, once perma-goo happens..it cannot be fixed.

The oil will still have medicinal properties, but no flavor, no ” soaring” high.

Just couch-locked, unable to keep eyes open...haha

this...gotta raise the temp to help get out the reaming moisture imo, you lose weight going from shatter to comb which I think is moisture weight...youll notice it start bubbling again(post shatter consistency) once this happens just leave in vac imo and it can turn into comb in hours...some strains i have to go higher than 130 tho=/ and obviously the heat isnt good for terps but comb always seems to taste pretty good to me
