hi all, i am pretty new to RIU and am needing some help with my first grow from seed.
i bought some Big Buddha Bubble Cheese feminized seeds.
i then planted these seeds around half an inch deep directly into the medium in 1litre propagators.
i ph'd some tap water to around 5.9 and dampened the medium.
the medium is coco.
they were left in the grow room and out of 5, 4 were sprouted within 4 days.
it has now been 12 days since sprouting and they have made little to no progress.
the room is constructed within a loft in the uk. it is constructed from mylar.
it has no fresh air intake but is pieced together like a jigsaw so has a bit of a breeze.
the humidty is fairly low at around 20-30rh but at current they are in propagators so i kind of ruled humidity out as a problem. unless its too humid. although the vents are open.
the temps go from lows of 19 to highs of 30.
there are 2 fans in the room on constant on oscillating.
the light is a 600w hps but on a digital ballast and operating at 440w it is around 2 and a half to 3 feet from the seedlings.
im thinking most likely cause is the temps however being in a loft that is not insulated keeping steady temps can be quite tricky. it never goes below 19 or above 30 though, more recently it has been holding more steadily as i have adjusted the radiators and added a 2nd fan. now it has highs of 28 and lows of 20 but may not hold depending on outside temps.
what else could be wrong? any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
