That's good to know! I might start doing it that way. Does it keep it off the web database that this site has?

If you upload an image from your hard drive, it has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is this site. It also resizes larger images to 800x450 if it's bigger than that. If you host it on Imageshack or Photobucket (or whatever), then RIU won't host the image when you link it.

I finally finished up my 15 plant Bubblelicious grow. There is a lot of variances within the plants- this is a strain to find a good parent and clone her because only a few of the plants were something special. Many of them needed over 10 weeks to finish properly. Potency is good and it's more of a daytime, heady buzz but not too long lasting. I'd probably pass on this again and grow a good C99 instead....... (but fine for the seed prices).

Sorry I skipped week 5 veg update....been so busy with work lately :( So here we are with start of week 6 veg...yeah I said it....week 6 veg!!! I think I'm gonna go to the end of this week and flower. Rootedroots, I simply don't want to take on more than I can handle. I don't really want them to end up too beastly....like you said...more lights! I don't think the wiring of my house can handle it....LOL! It's an old farmhouse and sometimes my lights flicker....so I'll play it safe for now and stick with the 500w max I got pumpin out of one socket. I could go big, coulda went small....so I'll stick to the "somewhere comfortably in between" which is 6 weeks veg for me! But ya never know......I may change my mind. I like taking this grow slow....and thinking carefully before jumping into things. I wanna keep it as simple as I can....yet produce enough to keep me and the peeps supplied all summer and fall!! I'm not going crazy on this one....you guys were right about your second grow....it sure is alot more relaxing and enjoyable ;)

Beginning of week 5 veg I gave them all 1oz fish/seaweed and 1oz seaweed mixed with their gal spring water from the mountains. I leave a gal at a time in the closet so it's always nice and luke warm when I water.
This week starting week 6 veg I gave just plain water for the first time. Not sure why.....I just felt like they could use just plain old water for once!

I really don't know what they are doing at this point.....things are so different from my first grow. They seem to be growing up a little bit now, I def. have 2 weird phenos....real fat leaves and soooo much growth in the middle, like tight little bushes. The other 3 are much taller and more sativa like. But it's weird cuz only the tall skinnier ones smell stinky...the shorter indicas smell like flowers....real sweet!! Maybe I should do a little trimming now while I still have time, maybe not...any thoughts on that?
So....how do they look? Think transplanting into 5 gal buckets before flowering is a good idea? Oh...and it's so much easier to water when you can read your leaves. I'm at about every 4 days right now, each plant gets a little under 1/2 gal.
Night night everyone :) Until next time......LOL Fed...no these Bubble Girls...ROFL!
101_5842.jpg101_5843.jpg101_5844.jpg101_5845.jpg101_5846.jpg a picture of each one!!!

101_5847.jpg101_5848.jpg101_5849.jpg101_5850.jpg101_5851.jpg top shots of each....for Chief just incase he's still watching ;)

and some random pics....Oh yeah, I also made 2 ghetto co2 generators. I tested em in my fish tank and they were spittin out the bubbles ;)

The girls are looking very healthy...no, not yours, Fed's LOL.
Oh yeah yours are looking great. Hey, can we talk pricing?
Are these good prices for CFL?:

I'm also curious about bucket sizes. I have a friend in CO who is a pro and he uses 5 gallon buckets. Other than being cumbersome, why not use bigger buckets? If I grow plants that are 5-6 feet tall will they become rootbound in a 5 gallon?
Catt, although watts are important, what is the amperage draw? Most circuit breakers are 20 amps; can you look at the breaker box and see how they are rated? Is the box marked so you know what room it is and what else is on the circuit? There are safe ways to circumvent the system like a multi-headed extension cord plugged into a room with very little electrical draw. Just a thought. That or I'll fly my electrician out to you :)

Hey Cali, I had a grow one time with my lights set up like you have. There's a lot of light not getting directed to the plants and I found a fairly easy solution for that problem.

Here's a pic of what I did from the side. It looks like an angry refrigerator but it's not really.

Sideshot.JPG I tacked the mylar(Purple) to the wall a couple of feet above the plants(Red Arrows). Then I brought the top of the mylar(Magenta) down and made a reflective roof for the lights by taping it to the cords hanging from above(Brown). There was some excess(Blue)so I laid it on the floor for even more reflection.

I feel like it made a HUGE difference in that grow. Just remember to leave some cracks or cutout some holes in the roof for heat venting. Just thought I'd pop the idea into your head. Your plants are looking GREAT. :peace:

Hey bro :) I'm not sure on the pricing cuz I got all my 26w CFL's from the harware store for $.99 each. I did buy 2 68w 2700k cfls for flowering from Lowes and they were about $17, so I think the pricing your looking at on the high watters is very good! I do have a 20amp for my bedroom, maybe it's just the CFL's that flicker, I'm gonna go pick up some non- $.99 ones and see if the flickering stops. Your so lucky to have an electrician friend...lol!!! And your my friend so does that mean he's my firend now too..HAHAHA! So how many watts do you think I can I pump into my clset safely on a 20amp? I have one of those mega orange utility extension cords going right into my wall (through the timer) and that is plugged into a power strip which most of my lights are directly connected to. I do have a few lights that are connected to extension cord then into the power strip. I know.....it gets confusing..lol!

Very indica... I like these pics!
This morning I rubbed the stem on the perky one and it smelled like pure skunk!! If you have a dog that's ever been sprayed....that's what my finger smelled like...lol!

very hybrid-like!!!
Damn hybrids.....I hope the shorter 2 with the fat leaves are more indica! But regardless, I'll be happy. Afterall.....I grew it maself:)

Yay or nay on the co2
YAY!!!

Thanks so much, I knew I needed to do something out the light that was being wasted....I'm gonna try that this weekend. Thats what I'm here for....I am afterall still a rookie :) I love when you guys share ideas with me....still wondering how I should tape the mylar once I get it up there? I have so many lights clipped to my chains. Maybe I can tape it to my chains instead of my lights? I've got the 2 chanins running along the top...here....I screwed up your pic to show you...LOL! Any thoughts??? I am going to have to move the lights around a bit next week when I flower....so I'm open to any sugguestions :)
