Hey I have run into a problem, the lowest and oldest leaves seem to be dying, getting black or brown spots on them and getting extremely dry, dry enough that when I squeze them they will fall to pieces, while the top leaves look healthy. Im not sure if this is because maybe i had them to close to the lights? Here are some pics, some help would be greatly appreciated. Should i cut these leaves off?

it definately looks like fert burn to me, im assuming you used a prefertalized soil like miricle grow. i am almost sure that is your problem, if you want to fix it you should flush it with a LOT of water. they should slowly perk up and that dark green will start to lighten, but you probably will lose a lot of lower leaves first.

When my plants were 5-6 weeks old, they were about about 14"+. And I had mess'd up the first 3 weeks.

How did you Germ, and plant your seeds? What are they planted in? Looks to me, like that soil is mostly ground up wood. Which most soils are that way now. Did you add any perlite for drainage? Looks to me like you didn't.

Replant them in soil that is well mixed with Perlite, and try to get soil with no time released Nuts. Remember, When you think you have enough perlite for drainage, add a good bunch more.

TIME RELEASED SOIL GARGLES NUTS..

Time released is just that. If you get time released Nuts in your soil, you can flush the living hell out of it, it will still have those TIME released nuts. There is soil out there that is truley soil, (not ground up wood). Which is Sterile, and has zero time released nuts. Most of the commercial brand soils, have time released nuts.

My woman wishes I had time released nuts, But I do not like them.

well i replanted her in a much bigger pot with some better soil, and that seemed to solve all of the problem. Its been a long time since an update but il post some pics later. a couple days into flowering now.

your plant is looking pretty decent. since youre in flowering youre gonna wanna add some more lighting and make sure its in the red spectrum.

just a quick question. about how old is your plant from the day it sprouted?

and if you want to, have a look at my grow. the link is below. i just started it a week ago.
