Ah I know why the chlorine reacts with the nitrogen and is destroyed I think it then forms chlorine gas? I can't fully remember. Chlorine reacts with organic nitrogen
This explains why it is needed so often to keep a sterile res. I run live so never really looked into it
i use a heatexchanger to put the heat in - and pump it to my shower to release
in hot summer (when i do not grow in my flat) i use the same combination of heatexchanger & led lamp to keep my apartment cool.
Filling the heatexchanger with fresh service water (15°C) in the morning. I use my led lamp body as a chiller only spending 10W on a little pump and two ventilators. A little ventilated waterfall help (~ 1 gal of water is vaporizing / day)
me to keep my apartment ~ 3°C cooler .
Next morning the heat exchanger has a temp. of ~25°C - perfect shower for me on hot summer days with 40°C
