If you're haulin water any great distance, try usin a big backpack, or get some straps or something to carry your water across your shoulders. Use your back and shoulders and you can carry more water easier, especially over distance. I'm just sayin cause I see your 5 (?) gallon jug in your pics, and I know if your carrying that with your arms, my guess is it probably gets old really quick.

You know i'm not doggin' B, just a little advice learned from experience, and I like to share!!;-)

haha I know you're not and thanks for the advice Riz. I'd kill for some rain on my girls but yea it's just so damn hot and dry. high to mid 90's has been pretty constant. I wish I could put it on some wheels like TLD said though but it's a pretty intense hike mainly down and across a hill side. I was thinking about using a back pack but I think the couple I have wouldn't fit my jugs in them. I know my plants aren't massive and that's mainly due to being stunted earlier in june by a bad hail and wind storm, and during that storm, a lot of the loose clay on the hillside washed down into my holes and got trapped. so that caked on top of my soil so I don't think the roots breathe too well, but it's all been a good experience and I feel I now have the knowledge to grow some fatties and I think that's whats important

I hear you on the hail. First time I'ver ever seen it in this area and it only hit a few square miles. Figures my patches just had to be within it. Though they have recovered nicely.


On my way home from work it looked like snow on the sides of the roads and everything that grows leaves was stripped. Beat up my corn too.

sup fellas, how's everyone been lately? sorry I've been slackin on the updates. I've been camping a lot lately with the mrs and just getting settled back down to upload some pics and all that jazz. ha and no, no bear got me.
but I just got a new addition to the crew :-) her name's Ozie and I bought her for $40 from this tweaker mother and daughter in front of SPD after we finished shopping for camping. they first wanted $60 but I jew'd them down to 40 :twisted:
but here are some pictures of the gals. the one that's super wilted is the hindu skunk, and I'm letting her go because she contracted something that made me nervous and I wasnt sure if it could heal itself back. but check the pics and let me know what you guys think.
oh and Ozie's a lab x australian shepard, check her out :-)

Camping is WAY fun..... I should get on it while its in season ;) ........ hope you had a BLASERT! ;) baked and runnin around half naked in the trees ;)

that plant's the smallest of the 3 gdp's I have.
camping was so rad though. first time I've been this summer, and yea the half naked forest running is fun until you get poison oak all over ya like I did... doh!!

yea they're usually looking thirsty when I get to them. they've been looking better lately though with the slightly cooler temps and I've been watering every other day for a couple weeks now and they do a lot better than when I was doing every 3rd day.
but yep, haha she's a little fem bitch. like I really needed another girl in my life... :-P

yea I just need to get a cortisone shot or something. it's just now starting to dry up and I have all kinds of creams and gel for it but i just get it so bad. fuck!


I'm down to pass the peace pipe though bongsmilie only thing that really helps with the itching :eyesmoke:

this season was really more of a learning experience than a success for me. I feel like I have a shit ton more knowlege than I did at the beginning and could now grow some monsters. so let's get to next season already :bigjoint:

For posion ivy or oak go get Pretnizone from your Dr. It's a skin steriod and will dry up the ivy over night. Not sure if the spelling is correct but every time I get I have to use this. I will take the itch away it 24 hrs. It'll take the swelling down over night too.

yea dude, next time I'm going right to the doctor's when it gets this bad. ususally it's just a little spot here and there but this time it was my whole right forearm and my whole right side and it's just now clearing up after using this fanct gel my girl had from a local pharmacy. just glad it didnt spread to my crotch. talk about a bad time :-?
