Hi guys, check the photo of my first plant please, indoor automatic royal critical growing with CFL agro light (16/8 )

Flowering time for this girl should be 6/7 weeks but after 20 days it looks already starting flowering.. or at least that's what it looks to me

Is it normal? Should I correct something?

16/8? I would bump that up to 18/6 or 20/4

what type of light are you using?

I would say you’re pre flowering.

IF and I repeat ONLY IF your main stem is flexible. I would and I repeat I would try and bend that main stem down any amount that you can. Even if it’s only a few inches. The more the better.

Also tie your main stem the opposite direction you’re going to pull the top. To anchor everything in.

Hey wattzzup Thanks!! It is flexible, but why? I mean what will happen if I bend it? How does this help the result?

Perfect watch a video on LST or low stress training. You’re going to bend that main stem down as much as flexible. Do NOT go too far. Error on the side of caution. When you bend that main stem down you can then lower your lights to be closer to MORE of your plants buds aka your canopy.

whats the real wattage on that?

That's the light box, I can't see any info about real wattage.

I ll try to bend the main stem tomorrow, in the end it is not so flexible as I thought so I'm not sure how risky it is, u guys think that the quantity can be heavily impacted if I don't bend it this time? Need to decide whether to risk or keep like this for this first baby

No if in doubt do not try and bend it. No worries it was a little tip to help get more light to more of the plant. Keep on trucking.

Thanks wattzzup!! anyway I ll check again tomorrow even if few cm It would allow to bring down a bit the light, If u have any other suggestions please shoot it, I just incremented the light to 18/6 as u said.. the temp is between 22 and 28 lower and higher..pH 6.6... obviously my intent is try to get as much as I can and learn :D

I run my autos on 20/4 since you’re already a little short on light bump it up to at least that. The plant still gets 4 hours of darkness and it gets 20 hours of light. It’s a good balance for autos I think.

Dont think you can go to a regular store in the us and find that type of light. Pretty powerful

I would LST it instead ... less chance of a fuck up unless you get too handsy with her and crack something. Early auto grow can be bent over and branching opened to SHAPE the plant to allow lower and mid areas to go vertical to make a more uniform canopy.

Your girl has begin to show sex. All autos “ trigger “ on their OWN timeline however bad light cycles , stress , environment , small pots , etc. can sometimes trigger them early too because they sense they need to hurry and bloom.

Just let her do her thing and move UNSTRESSED to the preflower ( budsite ) stage. The thing with autos ... once pop them you cannot stop them.

Thanks to all for the suggestion! This lamp has been suggested to me, as a cheap but Powerful solution.

If I want to level up and get a definitely better result (especially in terms of quantity) what light should I go for? Consider also that my tent is really small 40x40x120

Also I would like to not too heavily impact my electricity bills.

U know I think I can grow just one plant at time in such a small tent (maybe two?) So I want to maximize my crop as much as I can.

Okay guys, started LST this morning following some videos, for the moment thats what I did, but it probably can be bended even more! Is it done properly? Should I fix or correct anything? I also lowered a bit the light obviously
