So I’ve been using a design that was posted on Thingiverse for clip on fans, for over a year now with zero issues. Simply pushes the fan away from the tent corner a bit.

I recently got a couple clip on oscillating fans to go along with my tower fan and Hurricane fan. I decided to remix to allow for clip on fans with round post clamps, such as the AC Infinity clip fans and others.

My main concern with most clip on oscillating fans is when the tent is under negative pressure. I feel as if the fan is too close to the tent and causes premature failure of the drive mechanism when it comes into contact with the tent at full swing. Due to having to fight resistance against the tent when it is sucked in.

This remix pushes the fan further from the corner, and has a post for post clip on fans. Which, in theory, should help the already cheap materials of most small oscillating fans.

I know I could just add horizontal supports around the tent to prevent the amount it sucks in under high negative pressure, but I didn’t. This was 3 minutes of work on my computer and a few minutes to monitor the print when it started. And I like to 3d print shit.

For those of you that have or have access to a printer, I’ll be posting the remix on Thingiverse soon and will add a link to this post when I do. This print was a test print and I didn’t even remove supports, got lazy
