everyone in az is big and bad with a fucking ego..... I dont know why these two are bitching but it seems the az forum is alot of people fighting over the SAME SHIT... i joined RIU to learn. Ive learned alot but not from the az section and thats sad. I wish this was a place where we could share tips for growing in the desert! meet up and help eachother with large trim jobs(fucking awesome time with the right group)

personally trying to figure out what my next set up is going to be like, first HID grow!! I got tired of the hassle of CFL. Anyone running a 600 in a 4x4?? whats your venting like? temps? and anyone on here running some Mexican land-race sativas or maybe Jamaican or the rare Colombians?

Edit: going to post a thread with all the equip and everything soon so everyone can commment/critisize

I run a 600 cool tube in a 5 x 5 tent... I should have bought a 4 x 4 when I started, but oh well. I have the basic filter (high in tent) to cool tube to fan set up with 6" ducting, exiting the top of tent and exhausting out of a window. I have one large oscillating fan that doesn't oscillate right now and a small stationary fan at the bottom next to an intake vent. All negative pressure, no dedicated intake fan. Lights on from 9 PM to 9 AM. Central air thermostat kept between 76 and 77 degrees. I get temps at canopy level of 79 on average, with fluctuations to 81 on hot days, so far anyway. Down to 72 with lights out, I think.

Bleezy please calm down, your anger is not welcome here in the AZ RIU section. This is a place of healing, a place of calm reflection.
LV is a dick bag, maybe you missed the last 2 years of his posts and general douchebag behavior. The man has donkey brains, we try to help him but have you ever seen how dumb and stubborn a donkey can be???

95% of what i have learned about growing i learned right here in the AZ section. Just because we talk shit doesn't mean there is genuine hatred. I was 100% teasing LV in my last few posts. Perhaps not being able to recognize humor is a by product of donkey brains.....do you have donkey brains as well Bleezy? No???? Do you have a proper certificate proving lack of donkey brains???????

This is one of the largest and most active of the medical state boards, we rival cali's med section with FAR less patients..... we are one of the most tight knit state sections on RIU. Go hit up Nevada, or NM, or any other state and you will find a ghost town, no posts for weeks at a time.
We are Arizonians.... we dont have to like one another, but we still like eachother better than anyone else on this board.
We have made our own AZ micro site right here on RIU.

so when you say that we are ruining RIU for you, or that you dont learn anything for this section....I call bullshit. This is one of the best resources for Desert growers, regardless of LV's constant efforts to lessen the collective IQ of us all.

So repent sinner..... cast away your negative spirit and let the desert love flow through you!!!

This one guy at the hydro store keeps telling me I HAVE to buy a booster fan and run a dedicated vent for the light, but I keep the place at 73-75 so i hope itll be ok. Thanks again =]

This one was funny because ive made attempts to "connect" with at least a handful of people from this site and LV was the only one, thusfar, that has followed through and actually met me. I can see why he gets shit here, he is totally different online than in person IMO. Cool dude from what I could tell.

This just goes to show, its amazing how different personalities just don't mesh sometimes. Then offline, those same personalities can get along great. Kinda odd but kinda how things go in our very social networked world I suppose.

Lol just saw this for whatever reason, but I had no hatred? I expressed a desire to do exactly what you say you do. I've met with one guy on here and he was pretty cool, talked and had dinner. But that's all I've gotten here. Sorry if that felt like a personal attack, it wasn't meant to be! Just stating my experience in the section of the forum. Again sorry if you feel like that was directed at you personally.

for future ref. it's not very easy for me to get angry or anything, so don't take my posts as heated or from a place of anger. :)

I a the same way..... i am sort of a dickhole online, but im VERY quiet and kind in person.
Not sure why that is, maybe its because im at home on my computer and NONE of you know how to find me.... ya bunch of assholes DO SOMETHING..............I TRIPLE DOG DARE YA!!!

Nah bleezy i was just messin about. nothing personal. Me an LV ALWAYS have argued, threats have been made, i think he told me he sexed my moms up...it got ugly for sure!!!!
