Indagrow magnetic induction lighting makes hid look like the work of a caveman. It puts out about 1/4 of the heat per watt and because of the conversion of energy into light this 4x reduction in heat equates to a 4x increase in photosynthetically active radiation (light energy that plants receive, PAR). I could go on and on about how amazing indagrow magnei induction lighting is: 10 year warranty on entire light including Pyrex bulb, pontoon kit offered that emulates the far red light that triggers plants to transition from light to dark period processes after the sun sets (this emulation of the natural transition plants experience between day and night, light and dark, allows plants to increase the time allotted for dark period processes by 1.5-2 hours (due to the fact that the plants are triggered into the dark period processes by fat red light post sunset as they would be in nature, whereas indoors when the lights abruptly shut down plants lag for 1.5-2hrs confused about where the light went without receiving the message conveyed by far red lght (730 nm) that informs the plants that its time for dark period processes. This increase in dark period processes leads to more tightly stacked intermodal development, denser and more numerous flower clusters, quicker flowering times, and much more. The plants really love these lights more than any others I've used or seen (led, hid, or cfl), and that's what matters right? Plus, the lights save thousands of dollars per year in electricity and bulb expense savings!!!I run a 600 cool tube in a 5 x 5 tent... I should have bought a 4 x 4 when I started, but oh well. I have the basic filter (high in tent) to cool tube to fan set up with 6" ducting, exiting the top of tent and exhausting out of a window. I have one large oscillating fan that doesn't oscillate right now and a small stationary fan at the bottom next to an intake vent. All negative pressure, no dedicated intake fan. Lights on from 9 PM to 9 AM. Central air thermostat kept between 76 and 77 degrees. I get temps at canopy level of 79 on average, with fluctuations to 81 on hot days, so far anyway. Down to 72 with lights out, I think.

I was thinking the same thing those lights look interesting but how do the buds look ??Show me the nugs! Let's see the nugs produced from those lights. If they are big fat and rock hard, it might be good to check out these lights.

Yep this is me and the plants. What I have learned with the induction lights is they work great for veg, but the same plants from the same batch of seeds, worked better with the 1000 watts vs. the inda-grow. The lights cost $800 new and i had them delivered to a local hydro shop. They are most definitely not "just really expensive fluoros". You are mistaken and appear to be in need of further research. In particular, research the photosynthetically active spectrum of radiation as plants photoreceptors have evolved to receive light, then compare that PAR spectrum to the par spectrum provided by indagrow lights. No fluoros produce a spectrum like these lights and no fluoros and their bulbs have a 10 year warranty.So they are just really expensive fluoros.

So, you yielded 10.5-11.5 oz on each 420w indagrow compared to 15-16.5oz under each 1000w hid which costs 4-5x as much electricity and $150-600 in yearly bulb replacements? The indagrow lights yield 25-75% more with the pontoon kit that provides red light during the day and the far light sundown effect to trigger the plants into dark period processes. This 25-75% increase in yield is due to the tighter internodal development, thicker branching, and more robust flowering provided by an extra 1.5-2 hours of dark period proccesses each night.I almost hate to go over my nute schedule and yields because I'm sure someone here will tear me a new aaa-hole. I'm still learning and believe me it's been a trial and error challenge and the errors are ahead of the game
I use Ocean Forest for dirt and stick with the lucas formula with a few of my own twists (homemade tea and bud booster toward the end)
The light penetration on these lights isn't as good as the 1000 watt lights, so I've switched up and just use the inda-grows for Veg. On the crop above with 4 plants per light I got 10-1/2 and 11-1/2 oz per light, and the same plants under 1000 watt at the same time got 15 and 16-1/2 oz. per plant.
The buds looked the same on both grows but the 1000 watt buds were tighter and fuller. I'm not scientific enough to figure out yield per sq foot but I can see stick with big lights for flower.
Pics of the same crop above later in flower at 7 weeks. I run them for 9 weeks or so depending on how they look at the end, some longer some shorter.
