Can you just take a single leaf for cloning? Most guides seem to show a main stem with two leaves coming out of a node, I want to know if I can clone just from the cuttings I made doing some very light defoliation?
No, leaves will not cloneCan you just take a single leaf for cloning? Most guides seem to show a main stem with two leaves coming out of a node, I want to know if I can clone just from the cuttings I made doing some very light defoliation?
Does this mean I would have to re-top my plant to clone? I don't want any more main colas than those which I already have. No, leaves will not clone
am aware of that, yeppers, but not really the same as cloningU can do it with the right equipment hogbud. Here's an old thread about LEAF TISSUE CULTURE. it can be done with Cannabis also it's just a pain in the butt and takes a long time to get results. If u google LEAF TISSUE CULTURE u can find out more about it. U basically use meristem cells (undifferentiated cells in plants. In people it's stem cells) and these meristem cells I believe come from the stem.

Use a cutting from down under (haha) and yeah it needs a couple nodes and some leaves for food.Right then, I shall go see what else I can cut from my plant. So a low branch with a node on it?
tell your friend to be patient, know body told god to hurry up with a cutting , he did in his own time.Noo, I certainly won't get carried away don't worry. If the plant could not have "afforded" the two cuttings I took I would not have taken them.
I needed a cutting as soon as possible for a friend, but my plants are only a month old, I will be waiting a good few weeks before I take any further cuttings for myself.
