I have used 4 cuttings in organic honey, and placed in rockwool in a propogater dome under a mars hydro 1000. All 4 have been trimmed differently. I was seeing what everybody knows about the honey used for cloning. Iam also gonna through in some with clonex in the next day or so. I also have my mother in late week 1 into week 2 of 12/12. Any body has any thoughts. It would be appreciated.

I am planning on harvesting weeping willows and making a semi-stable extract for cloning.
I also have native Yuca plants so I would like to see if it would be suitable for a surfactant (wetting agent).

If it takes more than two weeks it’s not worth it. You can get a clone to root in a plastic bottle and straight water in two weeks. I’m curious about the honey though.... that’s a killer if it works. Please update this as soon as you get a result.

I was so overwhelmed with options my first time I panicked and stuck mine in unphed water with a fish tank bubbler, forgot to order root hormone, then they just chose to root in old chicago tap while I was still researching... honey would have been an easy thing to try O:

I just figured ot would take longer for the reason ot has to go back to veg first, maybe after I dont know. The mother was turned over 2 weeks prior.

I have taken clones from flowered plants and vegging plant. The difference is how dense the plant is as it grows. It will root regardless. Wellll.. depending on how they are being cloned. I use a cloneking cloner. It’s nothin special. Hell you could build it pretty cheap even. But it has had a 100% success rate so far.
