Cloning

Hello, again,

I have recently cloned my 'the leveller' about 7 clones, they are all stood up well, looking quite good, apart from all the colour is going from them. They are going very lime green. I have been misting with a nute solution, but the same (quite a strong nute mix) They are around 10 days old and no signs of roots either. I used clonex and the bottoms of the stems are swelling up, looking quite strange. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

Are they in rockwool? Any pics? I dont use nutes in my mist. I use jumpstart when I soak the rockwool and then schultz root take on the bottom. I would be happy to help but need more info!

yeah they are in rock wool, does that make any difference? I will post some pics soon

i wouldnt spray with nutes,wouldnt that stop root growth looking for food.

Make sure your cubes aren't sitting in water, and your temp should be in the low to mid 70's.

Stop spraying with nutes. The clones swell at the base of the stem because it's forming the root buds. It will start sending out roots into the rockwool in 10-20 days from being cut. Keep them in high humidity and mist with ph nutral water. I've read that tap water at this stage is ok as the clorine keeps bad things from groing in the rockwool. I used tap water for all 19 of mine and they didn't have any problems. I have since killed all the males and have only 9 females left, but their females.....
