i use one sort of nutrient throughout my whole grow which doesn't really involving mixing a lot until I add pk13/14, but don't expect me to start ph'ing any time soon,lol. Would need to go out and buy a ph meter for starters. I do have a soil ph meter, and on the few occassions over the years I have decided to use it, it is always measured under 7.

A little of both, if you moved, say to a whole new area, but brought some clones with you, and didn't ph, I think you might find there to be an issue. Unless your really lucky, and the water there is the same ph as the place you left. So Im saying your lucky you don't have to ph, and lucky you haven't fried anything by not PHing your water. Mostly lucky you have been in the same place and haven't had to need to ph it because you have I would guess been there long enough to know it doesn't change. Thats the reason I use water from my parents well, the PH doesn't change, and I have worked with that water for years. Never PHed the stuff once for outdoors, but indoor plants the leaves will curl under giving them that eagle claw effect. I wonder why that is. Gotta love the outdoors, prepare ground, plant, water, feed, harvest. No ph checking, worrying about temps and airflow, nugs to the ground, sigh...come on spring time.

OD, I use rain water 95% of the time, and prior to that I used tap water, and prior to that I used tap water that I always left to sit out, and prior to that before I moved I done the same thing. I have got less anal the longer I grow, christ I don't even have a thermometer in my cab, and to be honest, I don't feel lucky at all most of the times. But hey, perhaps I am dumb for not ph'ing and it is all luck. So may be if I moved to another area the water would change, but I reckon my habits would not. If my plants were not doing well, then I would look into what was causing the problem obviously. So thanks for putting my grows down to luck, that's really appreciative, lol!!! Until my so called luck changes, Hanna, and all those other fukin companies can go and ph their own dicks!! hohohehe.

Of course, all Ballasts get hot, and if you have an older style ballast then they often get very hot and not advisable to touch. The ballast should be mounted on a metal plate and then on hardboard or something or placed on a brick. I see on your thread you have put it on a safe. Good move. Im sorry if that offended you. Maybe its something that your using that puts your ph where it needs to be. Because if your ph was around 4 like the well what at my parents place, it would do some damage to your plants unless something corrected it. Or maybe it wouldn't because it doesn't do anything to my outdoor plants. I know your grows don't come down to luck, just that your setup, due to you not being a dumb ass apparently, allows you to use any water with out adjusting the ph. In which case you have got it figured out and you are a lucky mofo for doing so. Some people never do, and I can only hope to one day.

I hoped you picked up on the sarcasm in my reply, my humour can be very dry at times. And no offense taken, OD there are just many ways to do something, and for me adding ph up and ph down constantly goes against how I grow (again, I haven't owned a bottle of the stuff since the mid nineties when we grew using simple flood and drain hydro set ups). You give your plants the correct medium to grow in, then the battle is half won anyway....of course good genetics help, lol.

my ph is alway wrong and needed to be checked before used. it came out at 8 after ntes were added correctly it dropped down to 4.5-5 witch is way to low.

You know I was thinking the same thing the other day when I was adding some ph up, I just don't like to use the stuff, I need something that will bring it up that is organic. Any suggestions from anyone would be great. Maybe when I get my shit together and get something like some great white for some micros and hygrozyme, then my root zone might not be so sensitive.

the plants have taken to the pollen and some hairs have receeded. the calyxs are starting to swell! my buddy reported back to me that the pollen is some hawgsbreath X something else. how long does it take for fully ripe seeds? 5-6weeks?

most things i see say wait 3-6 weeks, but i always wait til' 6. you'll know when they are ready. because they'll be poppin out stripper tits.

Roots all over the place on it now. Very happy with the clone actually!!! Got some real hard core genes this little yin.

thanks tryna on that time frame. ive made seeds before but just never watched how long it actually took to mature and i used preflowers on early outdoor plants so i didnt keep good track.

DST- hopefully ill get enough seeds of each to return the favor of you sending me some DOG! plus i would love to see how you would do with something i create haha!
