Hey Dez. I let mine finish so I could enjoy the smoke too, but I was able to because I had no females in my tent that were showing any pistils yet.

First round draft.

Thanks.
I don't like running a lot of light for three little plants to finish up. Thinking about other options atm like rigging up a couple CFLs in the little hot house tent thing and sticking them in there to finish. I'd have to lop the top off the RBC but don't really care at this point. It's not going to produce any high quality bud since it seems to be root bound and it's chock full of seeds. I figure I can get more than enough seeds from just the lower part of it. It's got buds from head to toe but they arent swelling or anything and haven't changed since it got pollenated. I'm more interested in the seeds from the Afghan Kush anyway.

Anyone know how soon I can plant seeds after they were harvested? I think I read somewhere I'm supposed to dry and cure them like normal buds but do they need up to 4 weeks to cure or can I germ sooner? I'm kind of anxious to get my new cross going :leaf:

thanks

Cool thanks, gonna do what I always do, throw them straight into FFOF, it's worked for every seed I've ordered from Attitude and only about 90% of the time with bagseeds :leaf:

Hope to have updates soon

EDIT: All 3 seeds are in FFOF now, hope to see at least one pop and be a female

Cool that you've had success sticking seeds straight into FFOF. That stuff is kind of hot as far as soil goes. I start the seeds in either RW or a seed starting soil mix. Going to be trying the rapid rooters (think that's what they are) this time around though. The brown spongey things...

When I first started I tried the paper towel, tried putting them in cups over night until they sank and the rapid rooters. Out of those 3 the RR worked the most but one day I just got frustrated and threw some straight into FFOF, been having almost perfect results since and don't plan to change it. IMO, of everything I've learned since I started I think germing seeds was the most frustrating...

I'll have to give that a go then. I never tried it because I was told it was too hot for seedlings and freshly rooted clones. I've used it with many clones and it's only been a problem with a few. I put some seedlings that germinated in RW cubes into the FFOF not too long ago and they got burned. They recovered on their own but it stunted them a bit.
