I did that on another tray. The only thing is by the time i realized just how much more the main shoots were gonna grow the staulk was already big as your thumb near the top, and i would have just covered all side growths.

The differences are basically irrelevant IMO/get which one is cheaper.............rememeber to get two smaller panels instead of one larger unit if the space allows it.....good luck

Just finished up my first experiment.
Hydrafarm 4 bulb T5. Got a local stor with a moving sale, everything it 15 - 50% off, got the light for $89.
Using an organic mix soil, and some FloraGro ... I can get the nutrients cheap too, any suggestions?
Still have some work to do, adding a couple vents and fans for intake/outtake as well as sealing up the light leaks
Also going to be adding a second box with either another t5, or if airflow allows a 400W HPS for flowering.
Should probably do a grow log..

you should get rid of the cardboard, many hazards, although some people use it, its wise not too

Yeah thats on the to do list this weekend, going to finish up that box and have room for another around the same size.

Nice to see a t5 club thread. Im currently flowering under a 600w hps in a 4x4 tent and veg under a sunbkaze 48 and sunblaze 44 in a 4x4 tent. Last weekend I just bought a 4x2 tent to veg so I can run a side by side. 600w hps vs 648w of t5. Both tents and all ventalation are identical. I think it ill be fun to see how it turns out! Im buying another sb 44 for my 4x2 tent and if t5 keeps up ill lose the hps and buy another 44 &48. To keep it fair ill do a small scale sog in each tent. I use ffof soil, gh nutes flora series, cal/mg, liquid and dry kool bloom. Stuffs getting delivered this week so I hope to get this started soon!!!
