First let me say that I don't use grow tents and never have, that being said I was laying in bed last night thinkin of a cheap way to create co2 in a small environment that is actually effective. I was thinking that couldn't you use one of those small camping lanterns that burn propane to create co2.. I know people are gonna say its a fire hazard but what about co2 burners they have an open flame and when they are used right they are pretty safe.. Just some stoned thoughts

the burners create heat tho ....i tried using one and it rose my heat by nearly 15 degree i also tried putting some candles in a special holder so that they dont tip or catch on fire but the fans kept blowing them out so i bought a bucket and tbh its been like 3 days and seem to be happier there was a bit of drooping but now they are perked up like beutys

the last pic is of one sick plant that has now fully recovered and is lookign ever so healthy i also used plant vitality + made my ladys much more greener and healthier whilst killing my pests :p cant recomend this shit enough

c02 is much safer and easier to do with common bread yeast and sugar. Add water and tada! instant c02 factory. Why risk fire and deal with heat when you don't have to?

I don't have anything to measure my exact levels, but it's definitely enough to notice when I don't have it going. I filter it through water so I can see how much is coming out and it bubbles pretty good!

There's a how to in the first page of my grow journal if you're interested in how mine works.

My first post: How about this recipe? 1 gal milk jug-1/2 gal water-6 cups granulated sugar-mix-add small amt. of brewers yeast-make a small hole in lid-shake every 8 hrs. x 48 hrs? Plan to try today for first time. Any comments or suggestions or helpful hints??!!

It sounds good, but I honestly think that's far too much sugar! I had issues with over bubbling any time I used more than 1 1/2 cups of sugar & 2 tbsp of yeast

You can buy co2 pucks that you put in water. Supernatural Makes them. You need cooltubes for the tent tho. Once you have the cooltubes you need a small portable a/c or cycle vent the tent with a four inch fan every hour. I prefer thermostats tho

The truth is, boost buckets, sugar and yeast etc....all that stuff is garbage and more of a waste of time than anything else. if you are going to supplement c02 get a controller and do it right. Otherwise don't even bother, you're just wasting time, effort and money.

Get a tank and regulator or get a c02 burner/generator. I have used both. The bottled solution is really the way to go in a tent since it does not create extra heat.

Camping lanterns etc are not a good idea since they cannot be regulated and they do not have the safety measures that a generator has, tip sensor etc.

I beg to differ! It depends on the size of your grow. There is nothing wrong with using sugar and yeast for a cab grow. In an area that doesn't see much "fresh air" the added benefits are easy to see! Now for a grow room, it's impractical because of the space you're trying to fill with c02. But I've personally seen the difference with and without the addition of c02 and it definitely is not a waste of my time! I bet my girls would disagree with you too!

hey I was just thinking it might work, I don't have a grow tent and I don't use sugar and yeast. I use a co2 burner I guess I was just stoned when I thought of it and wanted to see if it would work
