When I see the co2 meter Todays ppm @ 1:00 pm was 1585. I don't care how when or why it's happening I'll let others to debate why ✓✓It's not a particular fertilizer that produces CO2. CO2 levels are increasing because of the breaking down process by fungi, bacteria and other microorganisms. Their actions produce CO2, much of it. Sorry for putting it that way, but for anyone who is interested type in Google search: malted barley fresh mixed soil crazy co2 rates.
I put a new batch of soil mix in my room which has no exhaust fan - just oscilating fans inside the room and a 20 pound CO2 bottle connected to a controller. In 12 hours CO2 levels increased from 700 to 2300 PPM. I have to open the door more regularly to vent the room and drop the PPM. I have been using the same CO2 pound bottle for ~1 year growing autoflowers. Organic soil mixes + CGE for the win. Naturally as the plants are growing and consuming more CO2 the levels will be dropping. If I could I would install an exhaust fan in my room, the first few weeks levels of the gas are too high and I have to open the door regularly.
I've been Composting for 45 years. I've My own recipe called CPR COMPOST POTVINS' RECIPIE. If you haven't used the 5-10-10 fertilizer, what bases is your arguments ? I'm using it's LOL When I've information /growing. I'll SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE, Use it or loose it.
Although there Autos, @ 20 days.
