yup. thats the best way IMO. The main reason HYdro does better than soil too.I have done alot of grows in coco and I just realized that if I grow in pots that require watering 2 or 3 times a day ( 1 or 2 gallon )
versus once ( 3 gallon ) my growth is quicker and more dense. Any input?
The humidity are about 44%-50%. is that too low for veg? I found out that they light was on 24/7 for week. im using 2 l000w hps. What can be the problem? My plants curl up like that and get that same waxy look when the humidity is to low.
You should chrck that first,at lest i would.
Thanks! I raised the light about 3 1/2 feet high. It been kinda cold in the room around low 70f. I hope its ok in couple days. I had couple girls in flower. they are three week in flower and flower are really small side by side with some in rockwool. Its seem like they grow really slow in coco with 3 gal airpots. the one in rockwool are like double the size. I thought coco grow fast and easy to handle.Taco leafs up means too high heat. When you feed him ppm and high humidity the plant brings more water and feed in resulting in high salts in plant. Leaving appearance of nute burn. Get more air flowing or raise the light.
Just my two cents. Give them a couple days of this to see major recovery I think.
bcuzz is coco. it has less salt content than the bricks but a lot more expensive. Is the bcuzz a mix? When I got the roots organics I didn't know it was cut but it seems pretty good. I put freshly rooted clones in it no soak no nutes for 2 weeks had good root growth and am seeing some nice veg growth after feed. Package says water every other day unless heavy feeding. I guess what I'm reading is feed often going to waste at 30% of what's put in. I'm rolling with it but I'm a cheap bastard and don't like the waste.
Yes it can! How cold we talking?Im sure there is not light leak. i check already. the same plant in rockwool are budding like crazy. its in the same room also. can cold temp when light off cause slow growth? one side of the room are where the intake are and its more cold on that side.
about 55-60f when light off and mid 70 with light on. will they recover? i had turn off fan when lights off.Yes it can! How cold we talking?
Why not just put them in coco to start with? Also, is 4 days really soon enough to tell if there's a problem? I take it you pulled them out and examined them?Hello. I have problem with starting seeds directly on coco. I started with soaking 2 seeds 24hours in ro water, they both opened and went directly into plagron coco ( less than 1cm deep with root down), after 4 days both seeds still didnt break ground and i knew smthing is wrong, i pulled them out and they have about 4 cm long tail but the seed didnt open. I didnt rinse the coco as i read on the internet plagron coco is ready to use. temps were about 70F with a 18W cfl ( just for start)
i have a succesfull coco grow of 2 plants from clones, but doing first time from seeds.
I dont care if i throw these 2 seeds away just want to know what i did wrong
