hey what's going on man. dude that is my method of choice and honestly its easier than rockwool, and you dont need a dome, and you don't need to make sure the water in the tray stays a quarter inch high, or worry about moisture levels. hey man get you a small dixie cup, i've recently found some little 4 or 5 oz plastic bathroom cups, put trhee or four holes in the bottom, filli it with coco, make your nute solution at about a 25% and go for it. to me, imo it is just easier.

PEACE!!!

Hey Zen, I am very interested in this simple cloning method. I am using an DIY aeroponics cloner now which is working great. I am soing some final lollipopping and have some great looking clones that I still have to cut off the plants. I have someone that could use some good clones so. My cloner is full right now so I was going to use B'CUZZ coco coir that I have left over and on hand in cups to clone the rest . I like the plasctic cup idea, I really don't want to throw away these clones I willl be cutting off, so a couple questions if you don't mind.:bigjoint:

Do you just dip them in clonning gel and place them in the coco? How moist do you keep the coco if I am hand watering dtw? How long does it take them to root in coco coir?

Thanks tkufos, I just cut some more clones last night cuz im switching my girls to flowering today. but im cloning them in something new not rockwool or coco. (fog tub)

i bet u that thing works really good...... but it only does 4 cuttings?? or do they make a big one?

I am assuming fog tub would be where the bottom of the stem is exposed to tiny water particles, from reading that always seems to work well for clones compared to the stem completely submerged in water.

yea thats what its lookin like....
i have a EZ clone 120 and it works great, but i bet this would work better.

I built it, I can make it have as many clone sites as I want mine has 5 cuz thats all I need

Hey guys, sorry if this is already posted, but the thread is so long, there is no way I could get through it without sitting here all night.
I have the cap 12 site ebb and flow, and am currently using hydroton. Everybody I know swears by coco, so I want to give it a shot. Do you think it is possible to run coco in this setup? Do you think it will clog my lines? What kind of material would I need to get to prevent clogging?
Also I use floranova grow and bloom. Will these nutrients work in coco, or should I go with a coco specific nutrient? If so what kind is recommended in this setup?
Again sorry for the long post, and the question if it has already been asked, but I think making the jump to coco will definetely pay off. Sorry, one more question, what brand of coco do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

You could put the buckets full of coco in pantyhose to keep that stuff out of the pumps.

I have used FloraNova nutes in coco but I have had better results with coco specific nutes like Canna or House and Garden.

When you flood the coco I have heard several people flood the bottom 2 inches and let the coco wick up the water that it needs.

Do you think it would work to put a smart pot in my 2 gallon bucket? Can water go through those things? I've been reading through the thread and I saw that mentioned, but am not sure if that would work in my particular situation.

Ya, Smart Pot is a good option if you want to pay for them. Heck you could just stack the thing full of those with no buckets. That way you get to utilize the Smart Pot's benefits...ie auto root pruning.

What ICHI said, why put the smart pot in a plastic pot. take full advantage of the air pruning of roots in smart pots.

Ok they will remove this as soon as they see it is against their golden boys Sticky And Fuct. Sticky has a thread that says 3000 ppm is what he uses and some have said " in his system high ppms will work". Hmmmm! Just for example, I have read and seen where anything over 2000 is usually toxic to a plant, any plant. I have a very good brand name meter that is "Or" at 2000 ppm, this means "over rating". Now who are you going to listen to the science of people that make and live on the sales of a tool or a tool that live on a pot growing site??? The other reason they will cut me out quick is I kept saying that after 3 weeks a clone will not after 9 more in 12/12 produce one pound of bud now if you can grow 200 plants maybe but that is not his threads set up. Just for kicks. Don't Do the 3000 2000 ppm shit that Sticky says to do or some other lame ass morons on here that say start your plants at 2000ppm.... This is great advice! Also even if your blooming, very very healthy big plants do live on 2000ppm they will not be growing as well as they should and or would at a much lower level of nutes and if you buy your own nutes you can see how wasting money is just all you will get if you don't get dead girls.... Love and kisses to the girls that on riu willl delete this as soon as they come down and stop staring at gay porn.... Please pass this along because they cant kick everyone off... Free Speech. Truth! The american way.... Stop oppression, and lies, now!!! Peace and death......... :fire:

Jesus dude. Drop it already. They've explained it to you in the other threads. You don't know what the hell your talking about. Less talk, more listen. :fire:

dude, no cloning gel. and when i see the clones looking like they need to be fed i feed them. trust me if you check on your clones everyday, they will let you know. and it really kinda depends on the strain you are working with how long it takes to root. just be patient though.

PEACE!!!
