Coco ph keeps rising I’ve been flushing at 5.5 for like the last 7 waterings and every time I check run off it’s 6.6 wtf in a 3 gallon I feel like my plant would be happier if the root zone was 6.0 5.8 I think it’s locked out cause it’s to high and the growth and colour isn’t very nice

I don't understand.
Are you using a nute solution every time or do you use just plain water sometimes? Doesn't make a difference what water it is.

Oops I meant to say I’m using ro with nutrients every time on the coco it says pre buffered and ph stabilized to 5.5 to 6.5 but I can’t get it to 6.0 now my run off is 6.7

I never check the pH or the ppm of my run off.
You'll be endlessly chasing your tail trying to have a perfect pH in the run off.......the pH of your nute solution going in is all that matters.
I feed with a pH of 6.0.
I feed daily to run off.......twice a day in flower.
I never use plain water.

I use ro water cause my tap water is like 800 ppm / have a water softener I water everyday to run off phed to 5.8 and recently lower to 5.5 cause I’m trying to get the run off low I’m only checking run off cause my plant was showing signs of wrong ph growth came to a stop red stems started to show up droopy lifeless leafs blotchy yellow leaf looks with bits of green dry paper like leafs

I dipped it into some 7.0ph solution shows bang on 7.0 I’ve never had such problems in coco it’s frustrating to say the least so if I’m putting my feed in at 5.8 and get run off my root zone should be 5.8 you guys are saying?

The run off pH will never be the same as what goes in.........it will change in the root zone. That's why I don't check it.

Man bro I had a cheaper PH pen and had a lot of problems like you are describing it read the solution 7.0 and 4.0 correctly i was pulling my hair out.... but it was not reading my res correctly when i got a new pen i found that it i was keeping the res a 6.5 but my pen was saying 5.8 and would calibrate in the test solutions correctly it was just the cheap pen crazy right

It's not counter productive.......plants require a varied pH for proper nutrient uptake. Different elements are absorbed at different pH levels. I've been growing in coco for over 20 years........the pH change is insignificant.
If the pH going in was 6.0 and the run off pH was over 7.0 or under 5.0.......that would be a concern. But if your plants are healthy and doing well there's no reason to even check it.

that is how my wife feels about her car if it looks good and is running there is not need to check on things to each their own

Age.
Pot size.
Typical watering frequency.
What type of nutes and amounts per gallon?
Tds/EC/ppm of nutes going in, and of runoff?
