Could I run regular and feminized at the same time?

Like I said. Ask 5 different people get 5 different answers.

If you do a google search for "Northern Lights strain history" you'll get various different stories. Some say it was created by the "Indian" on an Island in Washington State. Some say it came from California, while others say it was bred in the Holland and came to the Pacific Northwest in the 80's. I'm sure there are more different stories but those are just 3 that took me a minute to find.

I don't know what story is correct. There's about 50 different versions out there these days all claiming to be from the original.
Yeah, when history is told by a bunch of potheads that all have both bad memories and sometimes financial interests in how it's remembered it definitely gets murky. Looking at the plants he's grown out and pics of old NL plants in cannabis books from then they at least seem really similar and that's all I can hope for at this stage of the game. I like to smoke/consume heavy indica strains mainly and Northern Lights was my first really good weed I ever tried when a buddy smuggled some back on a plane from Amsterdam in the 90s. It was like eating lobster when your whole life you had eaten nothing but Top Ramen. I can't decide if I am going to buy the NL#2 or wait for the purest indica seeds to come back as a cross with the NL#5 which is what I'd really like. That would make some excellent tincture for night time use.

Well it wasn't like breeding something legal like roses or tomatoes where people kept meticulous records. I'm sure people were playing fast and loose back then while looking over their shoulders for the cops.

With Northern Lights you also have all these different iterations. #1, #2, #3, etc...

I sure don't know the history or truth to any alleged history out there.

All I can say is that if it's good weed. Grow it. :peace:

So what is the best white widow seed closest to the original from the 90s?
The closest I found was dinafem WW freebies. It was a while ago and I also had a few ww leaners out of a pack of lemon Thai Kush from hso. I just snagged a pack of dinafem blue widow from attitude. I did not like greenhouse or seedsman ww as much. Good weed but I felt the ww leaners from the ltk were more ww than what I found from greenhouse and seedsman

Yeah I see what you mean. The first real good dank I ever had was claimed to be "Sour Diesel x Puurple Haze" sourced from my friend in 10th grade who got it from his older brother who was a popular, well-liked musician type. The baggie had "PC" written on it in sharpie but could never find any info on it.

Honestly the mystery makes it more fun. All I know for sure was it was probably some kind of diesel strain. Was it grown in the shadows by a mysterious black market outlaw? Imported from the west coast? Who knows, it just makes for something interesting to ponder over a great smoke. :)
