Well ol JBird is heading out to do a ton of inspection work for any would be pesky switch hitters. Plus I have to transplant a few horse weeds, maybe a few small trees to better conceal The R&R patch :hump:

.... seems there are going to be some Lineman in the area taking down power lines because they are bringing it in through another locale. I'm not worried but I will sleep a little better if I get a touch more cover around The Queen Bee and her gal pals. I wouldn't mind having a grunt with me today to help out :lol:

Breakfast tends to be pretty bad ass around here as well. Scrambled egg sandwich this morning with Provolone cheese. Pretty bland sandwich though....out of onions, mushrooms, and peppers. In my inner circle of friends I'm known for having the ultimate getaway place and some bad ass food. The hostess with the mostess is what my friend Rose calls me. :lol:

Your ground lays just like here. In your posts you say that you like to plant around corn, how do you keep the bugs from taking over? I had some about 20ft away last year and bugs were tearing its ass up. I had some drift from the roundup kill some of my darlings as well. You planting Auto's? I've thought of that. Also thought about planting some under the irrigation pivots but I'm afraid mold would set in the buds after a dose of water everyday on them. Most of the pivots are dialed in at 1/4" of water per pass. With the available nitrogen in the soil from the NH3 and dry fertilzer it would have plenty to grow and finish on. If your down south of me in Arkansas or Louisiana you have a lot of furrow irrigation and I think that would be great. Love to grow some that way.

Well I did a few Horse Weed transplants for the above mentioned concealment issues. If they are looking good tomorrow I will do some more. The first pic is after the transplants. You can make out the white buckets that are sitting by The Queen Bee.

I feel you on the coverage thing. That is why I plant my veggies strategically ahead of time. Im not growing squash no more though. That shit tends to take over the garden with the large foliage. I am just gonna grow cantaloupe, armenian cucumber, watermelon, tomatoes(I might try some purple tomatoes), herbs to attract bennies, and various peppers next year.

Had a broken branch from some dumb ass(not to mention any names) not paying attention to what he was doing. You can see the wilt. So I did a fish string tie off and ran it through the Queen Bee and tied it off.

I hear you Frez...in this particular case had I known that the power company was going to be tearing out power lines that are pretty close by I would have put in some Sunflowers. Adapt and hopefully neutralize any potential would be issues due to this mid game off side kick I got.

Thats right. I remember my firstyear growing ididnt know pot plants grew some damn big and I had to keep snapping branches to keep them fromgrowing above the fenceline. There are some city powerlines above my flower bed and that year they decided to groom my shadetree that was growing into the powerline. I was scared shitless lol. I had all these 4x4 plants sitting DIRECTLY under where they were choppin. They didnt give a shit though. They were probably so damn hot and tired that they just ignored them or didnt recognize em. I thought I was gonna get busted for sure.

When the linemen show up to tear out the soon to be old lines I will be watching them from my Parents porch with binoculars ALL day long while I sip Lemonade / Ice Tea and smoke cigarettes. I want to know if anybody gets nosy or starts pointing at the R&R.

No I don't. I'm fucking jonzen something terrible though. At day break I will casting my lure for sure. I have been inspecting the shit out of plants today and watering this evening. I did manage to pick about a 1/3 of a gallon of blackberries to and fro from The Honey Hole this evening though. About 20 minutes worth of picking. The boom hasn't happened yet...but there are a notable amount of ripe ones. Gotta go get the R&R patch watered and then I'll be posting some sweet pix of The Honey Hole. :weed:

First pic is on the way to The Honey Hole.

Coming out of the creek with a bucket full of water you can see what a sweet little nook this patch is. Roughly a 15 x 30 yard opening in the tree canopy and it sits just right. There is direct sunlight the majority of the day. Quickly in the morning and until around 5:00 ish in the afternoon.

What's this??? An early bud? Ya it's pretty lame but wth :lol:
