Well a little research answered that for me ha
an easy fix for that problem is to put your plants lower to the ground and rig up a pulley system on your light so you can control the distance between the light and the plants. very easy to do and prolly wont cost anything if you have some old rope layin around somewhere. rope isnt very expensive anyways. lookin great tho. happy growing and as always, stay smokeyLOL I hear ya Jonny, and this is my first grow, didnt realy know how high they should be, I was under the assumption that it was just a matter of how far the HPS was to the plants
No Im not saying its bad, but your fan looks pretty powerful. Yes you want your babies to receive wind from the fan, but you dont want to go over board and cause stress on them. If you put your plants on a stand just above the fan, they will still get plenty of flowing air, but wont be pushed sideways by the exessive force of the fan. Might as well just throw that bad boy in then. Let me know how that works for your temps, weird that you have such high temps when your box is in a pretty cold zone.Hey 805 Thanks, Your saying just have the plants above the intake? It wouldnt be hard if I just put them on the floor if that would be ok. Its in my buddys barn basement, very cool, 40's-50's. As far as the 7th plant, I wasnt expecting to have a 7th, it just sprouted from old soil, How I dont know but it did. I'll cut the intake hole so that whole window fan fits in it and duct tape it.
