Yeah, it is really going around again. Several friends and music associates have just come down with it. I'm pretty sure it was trying to gain a foothold in my system on Friday night, but since I've had it at least 4 times, my body is, like, 25% covid at this point. So I shrugged it off in a few hours. How's hubby doing now?

I am still trying to recover. It is hard to shake it…. and still have nasal and lung shit going on.. but at least my energy has significantly improved. Husband is better, took him a long time as well. This is the second time this year I have gotten it. I never got it before this year … so weird. As soon as an updated shot comes out I will get the vax. I figure I might have immunity until Oct. I don’t want to get covid it again this year. I can’t believe 4 years later and I never used to get sick. I admit I have been lax in public places with masking and some of the public restrooms around here have no water or sanitizer. That’s just a recipe for disaster. Got to carry sanitizer with me everywhere. I don’t think this is going away anytime soon. It’s crazy.

2024/5 Covid vaccines are coming this August/September, targeting JN.1. I'll be getting mine with my flu shot. Hopefully soon. I usually take the Moderna (bigger dose/stronger high) thanks @tyler.durden

Just had a flu and an RSV shot. Didn't think about waiting for a combo shot. I'm a lemming. If the pharmacist asks, I always say "Sure, I'll have a shot." It's easier to make that decision when you're standing inside a Walmart. I took a quick look around and said please hurry.

Yeah empty queue I'd get my flu shot, got my RSV last year. But here we have to make an appointment so I'll make the appointment for both and go once. But however you do it get the vaccines (all of them).

You guys may be in better health than me, but I got a flu shot and covid booster shot at the same time once. It almost killed me, I was fucked up for an entire week. I'll get them spaced apart from now on...
I got my 2nd flu shot ever with the Covid booster in the same shoulder last time and it was no worse than getting them at different times before that for me. I haven't had anything worse than a moderately sore shoulder for a day with any of the shots and haven't had Covid yet either. *touch wood*

Here in Alberta our mini-maga gov't shut down the 7 or 8 long covid clinics with next to no warning last week tossing a lot of people under the bus. Extreme doctor, nurse etc shortage, cancer patients dying without ever getting to see a cancer doc. Destroying the health system to justify bring in US style private health care and enrich her rich cronies and petro pals. At least 3 more years of this. :(

:peace:

Sent you a PM.... I got covid in Dec of 2020 and it was mild, but I couldn't shake it and it lasted 3 plus weeks. About a month later I was having pain in my stomach randomly and got an MRI and it was benign tumors. About 1 month after that I broke out with a rash all over my mid section and after than I got mild, rosacea types 1 and types 2 and seb derm. At first whenever I would eat anything with sugar I would break out with these little tiny white head pimples on my face. Luckily a steroid I put on my face every 4 months for about 10 days gets rid of it. The seb derm I have is wierd and it just makes my face look like I have a very mild sun burn. Health is everything. I actually have a cold or covid now. FML
