Well the title says it all.

It has been 2 days since the flip. 11.5/12.5, going well. They vegged for about 1 week in these 5 gallons and before that, around 2 weeks in 1.5 litre pots. 3 from clones 1 from seed.

Northern Lights, Dinachem, Blue Kush, Indigo Lily [(personal cross),(in a 2 gal smartpot)]

August 28 (right after the transplant)

Just a “switcheroo” between the Blue Kush and the Indigo Lily.

On the last pic;

Top left Dinachem
Top right Northern Lights
Bottom left Blue Kush
Bottom right Indigo Lily

Organic super soil. Homemade. No feeding. Only using EM1 as an additive.

Dinachem is still revegging by the way. Its gonna be some sort of an experiment. I’m ok with any outcome on that one.

One week of training for the Blue Kush.

Loves being trained. Good trait. Very flexible. Double edged sword. It will need support i think.

Yeah it definitely needs to be trained. Otherwise it basically just grows one big cola and thats it. Side branching is pretty much non-existent with this gal.
Where did you get the blue kush seed from? I'm keeping track of a few strains that will grow one tall cola for future grow.

It’s from Dinafem. 1 out of 3 turned out to be a keeper. Its definitely a very sexy plant. I’ll upload a couple of photos later.

Blue Kush

18/6 1 week from seed
11/13 photoperiod
In 2.5L pot
Organic living soil
20+ days early harvest

It grew just like this. I took couple of clones but the right side of the plant is untouched so basically no side branching.

Indigo Lily. From seed and only topped twice.

And under the canopy. There is still enough light to grow healthy seedlings.

Ok update.

I just installed blumats. 1 carrot per pot. It may be a little underpowered. I’m not sure but we’ll see i guess. Well anyway, all is well over here. They are really flowering well. 13th day from flip but it was a late switch on the plants part.

The yellow ruler is 60cm so plants are about 100cm from the ground and 60-70cm from the pot. There is about 40cm potential for main colas. Between 6 to whatever number the Indigo Lily hosts on that bush. So looking like good yields. Here is hoping that all goes well.

Indigo Lily is a little further ahead in flowering. She is in a smaller pot so that’s understandable.

I’ve been away and returned a couple of days ago. And here they are watered by blumats when i was away. I’m happy with the results. This is at 30th day from the flip and 24-25th day from the first signs of flowering. Also staked them up. Branches were leaning severely. Especially the NLs and the Dinachems.

Indigo Lily got harvested, a very fast finisher at 36 days (maybe an important trait i can use in my pollen chucking adventures). About 80% of the pistils were brown and buds were solid and heavy. Others are doing fine. 30 more days probably. We’ll see.

And a bud pic. Indigo lily tester bud. It is delicious. Incredibly fruity and definitely very tasty. As a Blueberry x Purple Afghan Kush cross, that was expected but i get these grape and caramel notes when i exhale and thats very nice. Also some banana smell when i smell the dried buds but berries are dominant. Anyway i’m not a gourmet just smells very fruity with hints of other aromas. I’m sure as it cures all the real scents will present themselves much more dominantly and clearly.

Gave them a tiny feeding with seaweed extract, humic/fulvic, fish hydrolysate and molasses. First feeding since the tea i gave them 2 weeks ago and it’s the third feeding i gave in total. 2 of them were ewc teas. I want them to fade completely but not just yet.

It’s been a long time since i last updated this but i’ve been growing and now under quarantine i think i got the time to keep a better journal. Let’s see. New grow. 20 days in veg, bonsai mothers, flipped 3 days ago. Dinachem, NL, Blue Kush and Dinachem x NL (personal cross). Nl had serious transplant shock but it’s now growing fine. Never gonna catch up with the others but still it’s Nl, one of my favs so i’m gonna go with it.

eventho the NL is tiny compared to the others at least it’s over the transplant shock and looking healthy again. All are ok. Transitioning slowly. Bonsai mothers and clones act much like a seedling when transplanted into a big container. even if you give straight 12/12 it takes a little time before they transition. Same does not apply if you transplant into just a relatively big container. Like when i go from .5 litre to 5 gallon takes some time for them to flower. Like this grow for example. But if i go from .5 litre to 1-1.5 litre they almost immediately flower without any proper vertical growth. This is just observation by the way. Not scientific data. I may be wrong or just high so, you know, grain of salt hahah

The tent seems happy but i‘m having a real hard time with cloning. Some kind of fungal shit is making cloning impossible. I use sterile peat and all my equipments are getting sterilized with ethanol before taking cuts etc. It’s really fucking up my mojo right now. I hope i can fix it asap.
