I'm a complete noob but I read something along the lines of 1000w light would cover a 5x5 area sufficiently, so unless ur jamming 24 girls into a 12.5x12.5 area I would think u aren't giving them enough light? Unless ur aren't letting them have any nutes (but i bet those are give) the lighting would make sense to me..also unless u are using 1k Watts like I do u can throw them fairly close..I know the rule for a 1k light is 2 feet..look up a safe distance for ur wattage and do that. Other than that..ask Dr Frankenstein lol..he's very smart and generous with his knowledge

I've been doing this for 25+ years......I know what I'm doing. Look at some of my previous grows-i.e. Dr. GreenThumb's Bubba OG. I got my system down pat. The total area is 6X10 approx. and the plants are fine, other than small for their age. It's the strain, and as with a lot of Kushes, they are slow growers in veg. These are just slower than most others. I've been leaving the lights on 24/7 to speed things along.

If u say so...if this strain is small to u then I would be afraid of vegging anything other strain for longer than a few weeks cuz they'd be so big..everybody else has nice big plants too so maybe u just got fucked on seeds or u AIN'T doing something right. Idk if I did this for 25 years I'd hope I have a bigger room than 6x10 for my girls..and more than 100w per plant..

And, the big room is a lot larger than 6X10- it's maybe 12X15 but I try to concentrate the light. If you were somewhat knowledgeable, you'd know that Kushes are known to be slow growers in veg, and these fit that bill. Also, the size of the finished plants often is tied in to how long you veg for, and it appears a lot of people go long (maybe up to 60 days) in veg to get larger plants with this strain.

Sshz, I veg for no more than 2-3 weeks from rooted clones because I veg my plants aerponic style then I transfer them into coco or hempy (perlite and vermiculite)

Did you use any growing techniques? I saw a CK up close that was vegged for 2 months, thing was just under 4.5Ft and very very wide. It must have had at least 28 Colas.
I don't believe that CK was ever topped either, it was FIM'd twice though.
I believe I was told it yielded just under 9Oz, not bad for a indoor under a cheap 400W with supplemental 100W.
I only got 2 samples of it.
The first sample was directly after it dried in under a week, no jar or cure time. Just dry to touch and easy to crush. It was good, tasted harsh, had a good sweet after taste though.
The high was intense for a few minutes, then light on the head, after about an hour or two you wanted to eat a lot of sleep.
The second same was about 35-40 days after it had cured, it was smooth, sweet, pine, earthy, but had a minor after tone taste of some sort. The high was very intense at first, it hits you like a trust and stunned me.
I was laid out stoned on the couch watching Frozen in 3D with 100% Volume on 5.1 funny day.

Sky Rocket....thanks. Mine are from seed, which I expect will always take longer as the plant needs to grow it's roots first. I'm going to go another week and then flower, no matter what. Since they are staying short, I won't pinch or FIM these. I'll just bend a bit if it becomes necessary. Here's a pic of the room today, as it seems they are starting to pick up speed:

Yes when they were about 6 nodes tall Dr. Frankenstein enlightened me to topping and FIMing..I am completely new to growing so I topped them and was super scared I fucked up..it seemed crazy to chop new growth, but about another month into it and I noticed where I topped the trunk literally split in two and looked as if 2 plants were growing from this one trunk..I also had a chronic thunder that I didn't top and I noticed a huge difference in how wide the plant was..Im pretty much sold on topping for my next run

I will be curing in jars for at least 35 days for my upcoming harvest.
It is a very noticeable difference.
It's like picking a bud off at week 8 before harvest, smoking it and your like damn I grew some good shit.
Then taking a bud after its been dried for 5-7 days and smoking it and you notice it smoked, smelled, and tasted better, and the high lasted a lot longer and your happy with your grow.
Then you cure it for 35-60 days and all the non-active properties in the weed is activated and when you smoke, not only does it feel, taste, and smell better, the overall quality and high goes up.
Try it, you'll enjoy the difference.

A quick check in, direct q's at my ck thread, I'll do my best to help, check out this blue cheese from seed on 2/4 and now... Almost 2 months later... Then a mainlined critical clone similar in age...

Everyone's style is different and they greatly change results... The 2mnth veg on the blue cheese and on my critical kush was under a 300watt... I've blown these bitches the f*ck up quicker...but you have to give them what they need, timely... And always remember sometimes less is more... Not always though...Hahaha...

I've been harvesting this past week and have a ton of good product..I'll upload some pics this week when time allows. what do u fellas do with all ur trim? I ordered bubble bags to make clean hash 2 days ago. Back when I trimmed in Co we would make bho for my slave driver, but I'm scared to smoke that solvent shit. I'm drying half the trim in a drop hanging screen set up and freezing the other half right away cuz I've heard different opinions about freezing fresh vs dying first..wat do u guys find to be worthwhile in the process of hash making?
