Cutter Electronics: Complete DIY COB kits

@MARK-welight
The Mau IV kits are on back order with no set date for new stock or expected delivery date. When are they going to be shipping? I am looking for 4x 3590 3500k, holders, lenses and hlg-240h-c1750b. If your behind on your kits by a few weeks to a month, should i look else where for a faster delivery?

Thanks in advance

NICE ,i noticed its a 50w chip would you have to run it at 50% to get good efficiency like 3590's ?..
Here's the data sheet. You can run it at 2800 ma and it will be 110w, so 50w would actually be half of that. 130 lm/w for 3000k isn't bad. Whether or not you'd get similar lm/w with this as CXBs idk. I don't have a chart like for the Bridgelux ones. There's probably some difference which makes them cheaper than CXBs, I just don't know what it is offhand.

So who has a complete parts list to build a complete cob light system for a 2x4 space and a 4x4 space. Any input would be appreciated.

I am a diy noob, actually very new to growing but interested very much in the cob less you all are talking about. I saw a post comparing Lec to DIY cobs. Is there a pre made option? If someone has time can they send me in the right direction for further advice on purchasing a device that would beat the Lec closely the same prode

With your 315w LEC running at 42% efficient you will get 132.2 PAR watts before any losses from the reflector. You will be putting approx 1071 BTU of heat into the room ( 3400btu x 0.315).

With one of these 4 cob kits 200w @ 56% eff = 112 PARw & 680 BTU of heat per hour. IF you add the 5th cob to this kit (since the driver runs 5)

- 250w * .56 = 140PARw & 850BTU.

Is it worth it for the additional cost. LEC= $420-499 vs $404- $ 499. when you run the numbers, they kind of speak for themselves..

@BenSeiDank just dropping into a thread without reading the first post?? it is clearly a TOP BIN kit. choose whaatever BIN u want. in whatever color suits your needs. If you are concerned with CRI, choose the 3500k, 80 cri CD bin. easy peasy.

If that comes with the built in holder, do you know the pitch on the screw mounting holes, I can tell you then if it can mount on to the cooler? and we could offer a kit for the Vero
Cheers
