CUTTER Strip build wiring questions

Good thing im baked, or id probably be irate right now lol

I check tracking on my strips, they arrived in my province yesterday morning, went through the sorting depot here , checked back this morning and its saying they were sent back to Ontario, at that sorting depot again lol wtf...they going in the wrong direction!!!

im hoping its a mistake, cause it dont make much fkn sense lol

Everything else is here, will be picking it all up tomorrow at post office, tnutz stuff should be delivered in the morning.

They did. 6 to 4. They were down 0-4 until the top of 4th. And they just took over when they went to bat. My son got hits all 3 times at bat. On base twice and scored once. And pop fly out to right field. He did excellent. Had two big defense plays. He caught a infield fly ball. And the runner didnt tag up. Tried to steal, and tagged him out too. Proud father day for sure.

what kind of shops would sell double sided thermal tape?

i ordered strips with it on them but they came without and i never ordered any tape because of it.

My little town dont have much , ill be surprised if i can find some. quickest i can find online is 4-8 business days

Maybe a RadioShack or Fry's electronics getting screws is probably easier

Ok ill try source or one of those type stores tomorrow.

Man i dunno about screws, these cutter strips are very narrow. only 1/2" wide. diodes running down the center. Dont leave much room for screws.
 
Here's all my frame pieces and heatsinks along with the couple strips I opened .

No tape so no point opening the rest yet.


@Rocket Soul man I didn't realize just how big a 3x4 fixture was lol. I see what you guys were saying earlier in this thread now.

These things are gonna be huge lol

Check the underside of those strips. Mark may have applied the tape for you, I hope.

No, he was supposed to, I paid extra to have it done. Was pretty disappointed to see it wasn't done, and I hadn't ordered any tape.

He's sending me 2 rolls through dhl. Be here next week hopefully.

I'll build frames but can't wire anything until I get tape

Now I'm waiting for tape and have to do it myself.

I ordered 100 strips with applied thermal tape. I also had to apply mine after paying for it. Then he raised the price of the strips to a retarded price. No one was ordering shit. We give him big orders. Give him lots of free advertising. To thousands of people. Plus my IG. And now he raises the price. Just plain greed. After the next build for a 5x5 I will never use cutter strips again.

Im still waiting for the tape to show so i can do that extra work i paid him to do lol

it will be 1 month on june 13th since i placed the order. Craziness

frustrating for sure.
 
Well i think its finally time. Wish me luck, i think im gonna need it.

Everything except the project boxes are here. Going to get all the tape on the strips and strips placed on the frame.

Then the wiring. fml the wiring lol

I'm doing the same exact thing lol, overthinking it big time. Oh, you mean how you and a few other are sticking with me as well lol. You are def right about there being some good dudes on here, very patient and helpful! I was on another forum in the beginning and got nowhere near the replies/help like here! This forum is amazing and so are a lot of the guys on here, very thankful for everyone's help!
