Dark Green and Wilted Leaves, Slow Growth: No idea whats wrong!

First time growing: indoor, two autoflower hybrids (not sure the strain) in coco coir (with about 20% perlite) in 3 gallon fabric smart pots, 18/6 light schedule, watering about every 2 days (when the pots get light and top inch of coco is dry), fox farm hydro nutrients (about 3/4 strength as recommended on schedule). Its been about 6 1/2 weeks since the seedlings were first visible above ground. While one is doing great, the other has not been looking good for the past week and a half and after spending quite a few hours researching online, I have to admit I've not been able to diagnose/treat the issue.

The issue: About ten days ago I started noticing that the leaves on one plant were getting much darker green and then they started wilting and getting real limp (Picture 0492 below). The plant hasn't grown much at all over that time and the leaves seem like they might have shriveled some. This started happening right around in early flowering when the buds first started to form. The stems also seem weak as one or two snapped off when I tried to gently tuck the fan leaves under, but stems have not changed color. The wilting seems worse at the end of the light cycle, but I think my temperatures have been within range (measured with electronic thermometer hanging at level with the top of the plant)- probably around 70-75f when its dark and 75-83f when its light. The last three pictures below were taken today right at the end of the dark schedule so the plant looks a little better, but the top is still definitely wilted.

My other plant seems to still be in vegetative and has been growing very quickly during the same time, and is looking very healthy (picture 0493 below is the healthy plant for reference). They are both the same strain, have been getting the same nutrients on the same watering schedule and the same amount of light (I switch their places in the tent every morning so they get even light exposure).

The only difference (which could be significant) was that I trimmed some of the leaves (probably around 15-20%) off the soon to be sick plant about 5 days before it started going down hill (I didnt know at the time this was not good for autoflowers). Shortly after that it seemed like it started into pre flowering and the other symptoms developed.

At first I thought it might have been nitrogen toxicity because of the dark green leaves so watered the sick one with ph'ed water for twice in a row (over 4 days). This didn't help at all. I switched it over to flowering nutrients on the next feeding in case it was done with vegetative and needed more k and p, but this didn't help either.

It might be root problems since it looks like the symptoms of under watering but the plant's condition doesn't get any better or worse before or after watering. However, it doesn't smell funky, and it has good drainage, temps seem fine, breathable pot and perlite, not over watered ect, ph between 5.8-6.2 when I water.

Is this root rot? How can I tell without de-potting and checking the roots (this doesn't seem like a good idea)? Could this be stress from the trimming that happened 2 weeks ago? If so, is there anything I can do to help it recover? Is it a recognizable deficiency/toxicity that I missed?

I've already lost about 10 days of growth (shitty with an autoflower) and am at my wits end! Any advice or wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the length of the post, but I wanted to include the relevant details.

Cheers
