Clean the inside of the plant out, especially the lower half of course.

Well, ISS#5 busted out some bananas at exactly 4 full weeks. Lightly seeded about one-third of the plot. Lame. Oh well, what can ya do?

Weirdest thing was that I only found about 8 - 10 spots where the bananas were coming from, and they weren't like any I'd ever seen before. They were only located in the center, inside portion of the plant, halfway down the branches. In other words, NO bananas on top colas or outside buds at all, only in the middle of the plant. And then when they grew, a small calyx (bract actually) would grow at the base of a bud and then instead of a small wispy pistil coming out, 4 or 5 bananas would emerge. And then that was it, no more male flowers at that site at all. Very strange, I've seen many hermies and never a one like this before!

no i havent. i took you advice on trimming these guys in veg...you basically keep it clean down below and just focus on a few main colas?

Hey DC whats up man. Haven't been around to much....I think my anti-socialness has been in high gear lately. Going to order some of Greenthumbs stuff pretty soon and do a journal this fall when things start to slow down. Been pretty busy too. Got a real nice batch of girls that are going to start coming down next week. Needed some personal smoke :) so I cut down one of the two Vortex the other day. Same pheno,I think, that sub sub is entering in the medical cup this weekend. Going to be a lot bitchen and crying when/ I mean if he loses

Hey you must be swimming in buds in your tent...any guesses on weight? what did you yield last run, like 12+ or so? Smoked those strains before that you have in there now? I love strains with nice smells like the ISS. Never heard of it before, hope the flavor comes out in the taste for you. I'm pretty sheltered and the only strains that I'm familiar with are the ones that I grow. Had 3 five year old bagseeds from a bag of something really good. Had a fruity taste too. Well, I got one to germ and she showed sex the other day! Going to scrog her and throw her in with the next run. Actually going to do a lot of scrogging this next run :)

Don't really want to show these pics anywhere cause they are peckerheads' strains, but I'll throw one up here

Hey man hows it going. Token on some God's Pussy, downing some java and about to go get my woman. Just finished some trimming...I'm spreading this harvest out over the course of a couple of weeks. Been taking the colas off and let the rest go a little longer and I'm liking the results... definite increase in my yield. Had a couple of sativa Vortex in the group that turned out to be quite nice as far as flavor and buzz. They were very similiar, but not quite the same. That's what's in my outdoor guerilla garden :) Got love subcool getting beat by the same strain that he entered. That speaks volumes! I am renaming mine to gp lol

Been a weird summer here in the valley. Pretty much rains every other day, and a little on the cool side cool. Hoping for my outdoor gadens sake, that this summer gets on track

I've heard that about taking the tops off first and letting the bottoms finish longer, Aev does that. You'll have to let us know how it works out!

With all the snow and then rain that the east coast has been having this year, I think outdoor is going to be hard to pull off up there this year. Good luck, but at least you have an indoor setup to fall back on!

Hmmmmm, if you're by the mountain then that is a really pretty place to be. And the view from the top is ridiculous! I found out about the old toll road after I hiked straight up to the top. lol But the trails going up are some of the best and most beautiful I've ever hiked anywhere, and I get around. And when the sunset hits the snow on the mountain and the whole thing turns pink, that's definitely something special. :cool:

Thanks bro, glad to have ya around! Yep, this time is certifiably better than last, and if that damn hermie hadn't have popped up it might have been close to a lb. It def stunted their growth some and cut the ones that got hit short. Plus the hermie was shaping up to be a high-yielder itself.

Well, the blueberry/raspberry smell has unfortunately faded into a strong candied-grape smell, so no more Razzle-Dazzle as I was calling it. lol But although a lot more common, the grape smell is still pretty nice. I needed something sweet in the stables again. The other one smells like orangy-pine sol, and the last two smell like lemony-fuel.

Then there's the 2 phenos of AK that are really starting to fill out, and also the Super Silver Haze which is doing the same. Plus the last 4 HB clones and 4 SS clones that are coming down for the last time this week. Variety is the spice of life right? :mrgreen:
