I have been away from about a week I come back to a locked thread with over 12 pages on it WOW.... Im sorry guys I didnt post one time to answer any of them. The guy straight up ripped me off. Ya he give me 2 free oz. this was our deal. He sold the other to the dispensers so he got his money back.

I did see everyone talking like it cost alot to grow... You also make a hell of alot of it back in your pocket it cost money to make money so dont let people fool you.... Lets have a brake down for you guys that giving a free oz away.....

Start out with seeds or clones..... lets go clones. 20 dollars a pop I want 12 = 240 dollars. 200 dollars worth of nutes buckets, soil,(fox farm) lets say another 300 dollars. Lets get the stuff for our room now. Mylar, fans, timers, electrical bar. lets say another 300. Ok Lights now I will say 600 dollars worth of lights I can just use ebay for lights just as good as any, now the grand total is 1600 dollars OUCH!! oh yea nad your elecrtric bill was 250 a month.... OUCH OUCH!!

Now its harvest time, 2.5 oz off each plant or more. 2.5x12=30x250=7500 dollars
thats 2.5 oz off each plant I got 12 so thats 30 oz for my harvest a dispensary will give me 250 a oz. 7500 dollars is what you just made lets see the profit now.

7500-1600=5900-lets say 900 for power you have a grand total of 5000 dollars in your pocket oh shit sorry I have to give my paitent 2 free ozs thats another 600 thats now a profit if 4400 dollars OH DAM I forgot about my time for growing. To me this is fun so its really no big deal to me. I will say 1000 dollars 2 me. so thats 3400.


I just dont get it why no one would offer you free meds you think 2 will last all month? HA!! I smoke over a 1/8 a day so give me 2 weeks and I will come back for more meds. Anyway this guy that was my caregiver is a little peter puffer. He didnt even offer to sell me any just said I am not growing no more it cost to much. Just around harvest time lol to me thats kinda fishy why didnt he tell me way b4 this to let me know. ??????? probably he just pocketed 3400 dollars off my shit. Anyway have a great day guys and keep smoking I will come back later to see the bashing I get because I think caregivers should offer free meds. They are making alot of money off you dont let them fool you one bit...

Keep in mind guys, you only need to buy the lights and that kinda of shit one time replace bulbs yes but you have it now you dont need to buy it all over so the next crop will be worth more and take your own clones so yea it not that hard. People that grow 200 plants I feel sorry for you that would be hard work! BUT!! you know what you would make with 200 plants? HERE I will let you know bout what you would make. You just made 125,000 Now I dont know anyone that makes 100k every 4 months there is 4 quarters in a year so you just made 400k in one year...... Suck my ass if you cant give out a free oz lol

Grow your own then you have nothing to worry about.

Better yet, grow your own, sell it all to those dispensaries that you are referring to and you can give away all the free meds you want. :mrgreen:

I think your numbers are pretty fair and yes there is a lot of money that can be made from it. But to me you left out two important points"
1-Your numbers do not take into account the value of the risk that growers, whether legally done or not, are taking. Not sure how to value that, but it certainly has value!
2-Unless you are totally unable to grow it your self (a medical condition preventing you from physically doing it) then you are at the mercy of a supply and demand system, no different than any other product, including pharmacy meds (Walgreens, CVS, etc.)
If some offer free stuff good for them and the patient, if they don't then go elsewhere or live with the deal arranged.
Not trying to take sides, just my 2 cents. Good growing to all!

I agree with you. I'm not trying to take a side either. I think everyone should just grow their own and there wouldn't be any issues. It's not that difficult or expensive for one to grow good quality meds for themselves.

Buying Fox Farm, Advanced, and all that other expensive shit just doesn't make good financial sense to me. And paying 20 for clones is just plain ludicrous when you have a ready supply in front of you. Equipment and supplies are a business expense that can be written off by a legit grower. Blowing smoke at a patient is one thing, blowing it at another grower is making me think that you think I'm stupid!
True, patients are at the mercy of a supply and demand system, but hurricane victims are at the mercy of that same system. Is it right for me to buy a truckload of plywood for $20 a sheet, go to South Fla and sell it for $150 a sheet to people who have no choice but to pay it?

CG take your 12 and use some for Mothers, Clones and Teens. How do you expect us to have multiple strain and weekly harvest...Ignornace is becoming an epidemic!

A caregiver that actually follows the law and supplies his patients and nobody else is going to need to make the expenses back off of his patients. Not all caregivers are dealing their overages are they? Are dispensaries still buying overages?

SO you have your caregiver that grows out your plants, has overages and nowhere to move them too because dispensaries aren't buying now, so he's risking going to jail for being over and his patients want free meds so on top of it, he can't even make back his expenses.

Just another scenario to consider.

WEEKLY harvests? That puts things in another light entirely. I was going on a harvest every 60. I'm trying to get my mind around how that's possible and keep the plant count where it should be. (Sitting back to reconsider my position........)

No kidding, not everyone is in the same boat when it comes to growing. If you don't like your caregiver or patient, change things and I'm sorry, if anyone feels like their getting a raw deal, then they need to get out of the situation. If you don't like your patient drop them and if you don't like your caregiver, find another or grow your own. For everyone else that can do everything better and cheaper, take on some extra-people to help or start a comprehensive grow guide so people don't have to be subject to all the bs. It's a two-way street people. Just to be clear, I'm not nor do I advocate taking advantage of people....but I do think that there are valid points from both sides.

I closed the last thread because it turned ugly and into nothing but personal attacks. There's no reason that everyone here can post their opinion without calling each other names. Everybody's view on this subject is welcome. Keep the personal attacks out of it.

Exactly, so where are all the big bucks now? I see people do the "math" and it's nothing like my situation. I never made money like that and certainly people won't be pulling it down with dispensaries. I for one won't be playing around in the streets...I'm trying to figure out a new schedule to assure that I don't end up in a bad position. If I wanted to get in a bad position, I find a new spot and just go for it, what would be the big difference.

its real easy with 12 plants two mothers or you just outsuorce your plants, one plant at a time in flower, with 8 plants in various stages of growth started to flower spaced apart by 1 week, thats 8 in flower 4 in veg and you cloning one every week in a 3 gallon smart bags i can get 4 OZ's a plant easy if given right conditions and care, and five gallons even better

too, or if you want mothers( clones are like 10 bucks a piece who cares) then you do 6 in flowing spaced out by a week and a half with four still in veg and clones spaced a week and a half apart

is this really hard for yall

I stand corrected. Yes I knew that and it slipped my mind. That's what I get for getting into something and not being informed of ALL the ins and outs of a situation.
I'm not against anyone making a profit, don't get me wrong here. And yes, all my property got seized and the worst is yet to come.

Ya know, with a little Lawry's seasoning, and Crow aint half bad!!!!
