Defcom's 2x600w in 4x4 GrowLab, PKxTW cooler DWC medical grow

kk, well i figured since i moved my vegging plants into the flower tent and got everything setup i would start a new journal. everything seems to be pretty stable, finally got to fill up my reservoir after i made all the changes. plants got put into flower tent, and began training under the screen. gonna veg about 1 more week then kick it over to 12/12... nutes: dyna-gro foliage pro, grow, bloom and protekt, botanicare liquid karma, hygrozyme, and i think i may pick up some hydroplex, not sure yet... reservoir is a 120qt cooler, with 16 6" stones in it. also has a sub pump in it with a hose stubbed up for res changes/sampling... the purple kush trainwreck cross came out way way way stronger than trainwreck although the yield was less. i am pitching my trainwreck mom, because even though the smoke was good, and it smelled and tasted amazing it isnt packing the punch i was looking for... anyways, heres some pics. more to come soon.....

they took to the transplant well, grew a couple inches while i slept... woke up and it was like 87 in the tent, and realized someone turned the heat up in the apartment. either way, they didnt seem to mind it, and now its down to 81 in there...

yea everyone is different thats for sure...some of my least favorite buds I have grown is often another persons favorite, go figure.

Sometimes i taste some chronic and think it's the best i've ever had, only to find out that everyone else thinks it tastes like oscar the grouches house.

haha yea thats funny, i still am undecided on the tw mom. im gettin some vortex and chernobyl beans soon, so i will probably pitch it anyways, since its not gonna be in the next couple cycles and id rather not waste space with it. the pk is a keeper for sure. ph rose to 6.1 today, temp rose to 67F and ec is holding steady at 1.0. they drank a fair amount of water.

everything is looking ok, they are starting to shoot a lot of growth now. the t5 i have is really slow on the veg, and im thinking about maybe getting a 250-400w mh.

i do have some leaves that are lacking tips from FIM'ing, i guess next time i may have to be a little more careful. i was thinking about fimming maybe once more.

no they were clones from a dispensary...

i would like to add a very hesitant ^5 because there is no sign of mites. i plan on doing some preventative spraying in a day or so with azamax...

kk yesterday i found that i had a ph issue, apparently my ph pen started to fuck up bad (i.e. taking 15-20 mins for a reading)... somehow the tip got dry or is fucked, but anyways, i caught the damage on the leaves as it was starting. i think there is only like 4 big fan leaves effected on one plant. the plant on the left is more finicky and growing slower than the one on the right. it also was exhibiting signs of excessive N in the leaves, which the other one hadnt show... its looking like the switch to flower is going to happen very soon, as the plants are growing fast, 2-3"/24hours... anyways, everything is looking good, ph dropped down to 5.7 overnight, and im adjusting that now... pics to come later if i have time...

That sucks about your ph meter.... are you gonna get a new one or just stick with the one you have?

kk, everything is goin smooth, cept i need to get these plants on 12/12 soon, so i have to finish lightproofing the room asap before i have a jungle...

kk, quick pic update... ive now lightproofed the entire grow room, and will be switching to 12/12 probably tomorrow... the temps hold steady at 82, and are only gonna get slightly cooler as winter progresses... everything is pretty steady, they are suckin up nutes and water, ph is remaining decently stable maybe .15 off every 2 days or so. roots look pearly white right now, that will all change once i start enzymes and shit... anyways on with the pics.




oh and my pk mom is lookin pretty as shit, i bent her branches down to make her grow fat as fuck and shes doin nicely!

me and my girl didnt have leftovers from thanksgiving so we got some sushi instead =P

timers are set, and i think we are gonna kick off 12/12 tonite or tomorrow. did some res maintenance today, everything is going smooth. no pic update today, they look the same just bigger ;-P

kk, so flipped the switch, first 12/12 dark period starts in a few hours... mixed a couple nute soup batches for res change tomorrow, and one for while im on vacation.
