I am using Cal Mag once a week. I am in flower now. I am using neem in the evenings when the sun is down. Do the plants look bad? Do you think they are fixable? Should I flush the plants?
CalMag once a week is ok, I wouldn’t go more. Most CalMag products have nitrogen in it which is better for veg-week4 of flower. You may want to consider a calcium carbonate product in late flowering stage. Higher calcium is important in late flower. This is probably not as big an issue as the look of your plants right now.
Let’s talk neem.
I would stop spraying neem oil. Neem oil in flower is not a good choice for pest/disease control/management. Tell me more about your neem oil sprays. How do you mix it before you apply it?
I don’t think “fixable” is the right word. The damage you see to your leaves is done. You can try to fix the course you’re in to a better point and have better yields than if you didn’t.
It’s ok where you are at. Cannabis is a constant learning curve. And even the most seasoned growers can run into issues. We are all students of the plant. It’s our willingness and diligence to continue to strive for a better run, a better understanding that sets us up for that next run/season and makes us better.
Aside from your issues, don’t beat yourself down! You’re in flower! That’s awesome! You made it through veg. Make it to the finish line now and take this run as a learning opportunity so that your next is better.
It takes passion and perseverance to grow good ganja.
