Nazis and KKK show up to do violence. They did in Berkeley this spring and they did in Charlottesville this summer. To some, shouting Nazi slogans in your face is hate speech. You listen to too much right wing radio bs. People defended themselves from those haters. I see nothing wrong with that. If police can cordon off the two sides then nothing will happen. In both cases, the Nazis deliberately avoided police cordons.

LOL, Sanders didn't do much protesting back then. The one large event where he just showed up was at the MLK march in Washington, not the march on Washington. He participated a few anti segregation protests in 1961-1963.Sry, howbout this one?
Too funny that you white boys keep touting him as "having done more than Clinton". He did not. No major activists of the day remember him. Since 1963, he's been a good white boy and stuck to the white crowd where he obviously is more comfortable. I'm not saying what he "should" do I'm just saying you have to look hard to find anything about his activism regarding civil rights.

I'm not going to be led by your questions. At Berkeley and Charlottesville, Nazis and KKK showed up to do violence and they avoided police cordons. If people leave weapons at home or police confiscates them and a police cordon keeps people separate, I don't care what people think, peace will be kept.
Shouting Nazi slogans into a person's face or at a group of people can be considered fighting words and is a perfectly good reason fight with them.

The disagreement is whether or not it is racist to call young Sanders a white boy. It is not racist. You might find it offensive but it's not racist.

I disagree. If they don't cause violence I don't care what their objective was coming into the assembly. I also won't condemn somebody who starts a fight when Nazi slogans were shouted at them because those are fighting words. I condemn any violence Nazis might cause because Nazi speech and symbols are fighting words. The difference is that Nazis aren't assembling to redress grievances, they are rallying in the cause to allow legalized violence on others or to take people's right away.

No argument that southern baptists are extremely racist but I haven't seen them parade with symbols of white power under the Babtist banner. Have you? History and context matter too.
If Baptists are a fascist political movement, like Nazis and KKK and alt.right or other violent white supremacist gangs are, I'd like to know.

Would you say that he's degraded in mental capability over the past years? He seems to be more demented than earlier. But I haven't been posting here as long as others and have a smaller sample size.

I didn't know him before but I think he's either a sneaky Republican hidden in plain sight or a useful idiot (...which I'd argue is far worse).
