Sounds like the perfect time to get it dude, nice one!I bent a stem/branch last night and it still bent a bit even though it was pretty stiff but about an hour ago when I checked again, there was a nice snap when I tried to bend one.
It actually started to bend but then made a snap sound, didn't break off but snapped all the same so I snipped it all off the branches and jarred it up with Hygrometers in the jars so I can monitor the cure process closely.
I don't like stems in my shit so I cut them all right close to the bottom of the buds and if at the bottom of the big buds I could see seperate stems, I cut those too to get rid of as much of the stems as possible so there's only really a few big buds left. Most of them are small nuggies and the jars smell lovely. If you sniffed a bud, you could smell a hint of what it should smell like but very weak. If you sniff the jar, it smells awesome!!
Sure lost a lot of weight between the branches and the moisture. It went from just under 8oz when I hung it up to just over 2oz after drying and trimming. Crazy...
Looks like fire buds to me......literally, lol
Thanks, pretty happy with it.Sounds like the perfect time to get it dude, nice one!
HAHA, yeah. I'm sure they look familiar to more than just you, lol.I shouldn't say it but those jars look "familiar" to me... lol!
fire buds indeed, they're red as flames... I'm at 30 hours drying myself we could make some sort of comparison of the process later on
...tuned as always!
Thanks man, appreciate your input.looks pretty good to me.
Lol, I got a good smile out of the angels breaking into song line. Even after I just went to make adjustments and found 4 of what I think are fungus gnats. For sure. I'm chompin at the bit maself, haha. They smell heavenly now and whenever I open the jar I swear I hear angels breaking into song, lol
MmmMmm...roll up a j and pass it over hereI tried out the GC last night and it's definitely fire. Very potent, tastes and smokes great too. I recommend it to anyone that can FIND it .
A few buddies of mine that are vet smokers have been very complimentary. I gave them each a little to sample and they all enjoyed it. They said,"very stoney", "killer smoke", "tastes awesome" and they all said "great job, keep up the good work".
Nice to hear...
Here's a pic I took of the Hiundu SKunk when watering it tonight. It's just part of it really and I now think it will yield more than the GC did. The leaves are all yellowing and/or dying off now but there's still a bunch of white pistils and it's only been 7 weeks and 2 days so I'll keep watering and watching for another week or two. I started flushing too soon with this one but it'll still be awesome, the buds are still fattening up more everyday.
Yeah, I wish I had been able to save more clones from this plant. I have one that made it but it seems to be a bit of a slow grower. I'm changing things up with my grow over the next few weeks and will be vegging my mothers under either a HPS or MH bulb depending on funds (already have an extra HPS setup) so hopefully the GC will start to grow better once it's transplanted it into a 5gal pot and under more intense light. I'll end up with a Sour Grape (hopefully), The Church, Green Cush and Super Lemon Haze for mother plants by the time I'm done revamping the grow.GC is definetly the shiz!! From what i understand it is the smoke of choice by most vets!
SmokeyMcPotJK likes this.Allright so here's the deal, I've been researching some sutff lately ...
I'm going to take clones often and will either be putting them straight into flower once they're rooted or vegging them for 1-2 weeks first, not sure yet. I will try both ways and see what the yield is before making that decision.
What I haven't mentioned to anyone except one person on here is that I have had a test grow going for a couple weeks now that is hydro (ebb&flow) .....I haven't taken any pics of it and probably wont until it's in the regular flower room since it's nothing special and really just a test anyway.
