Mutually Assured Destruction was a joke as it turned out. It was always USA Unilaterally Assured Destruction, and that has not changed. China and Russia, know this very well.

When you ask questions you queer the answers by very definition, unless you are follow science which is not opinions.

There are occasional exceptions to the general rule that the White House takes a beating in midterms. Clinton in 1998 and President George W. Bush in 2002 are notable recent examples.
