I'd prefer to owe than they owe me. I am not willing to give the government an interest free loan. If at the end of the year my ROI is less than 15%, I generally pay the tax bill right away. You can call it an interest free loan for me, if I make more than 15% ROI, I will consider paying the tax bill over time.

Not in any state that I've lived in. I've never been an hourly worker, so I personally do not know. However girls I've dated and some of my friends who were down and out worked hourly wage jobs. All of them complained about not being able to get 40+ hours of work and were never paid for vacation time.

Yes, I am saying that. Many states do not mandate paid vacations. Please point to me Wal-Mart's vacation policy for part time employees. Please point to me Costco's vacation policy, or Shell, or Mobil, or whatever the fuck else. Specify the state as well.
from my memories of being an hourly employee, i recall that the most generous places would give you about two weeks worth of paid time off per year to be used for all vacations, sick days, personal emergencies, mental health days, etc.
