Like mentioned before, the Dinafem og kush seems to be less like the "real" og kush than some.

It is very indica for an og kush. It does show chemdawg like qualities ime tho too. Sooo... It's not a big ol fake, just little more like "real" bubba kush than other og kush I've grown or had a bag of.

For example... DNA Reserva Privada og kush and og #18 were very lanky. The og 18 I have kept is a freaking 10ft tall vine if you don't watch out. It's nuts, super huge node gaps and very weak, flimsy stems. The final product of it is very aggressively pungent. Smell and taste r off the charts. High/potentcy is a near 99/100. Creeper like and well mixed sativa and indica. Just phenomenal final product, but crazy flimsy, lanky ass plant.

The original DNA/rp ogk was similar.

Another og#18 from an unknown buddy of a friend was beefier and more indica, but I don't know that it wasn't a bagseed or imposter honestly. It was far less pungent and potent too.

The Dinafem og kush has always produced very uniform plants each seed. Little variation in my EXP.
They are very, very slow growing in comparison to my lanky og#18.
Likes to be treated like a bubba kush does, somewhat due to it being fairly heavily indica. Likes it dry, very apically dominant, has only a bit of stretch in flower, completely in contrast to the epic strecthing DNA/rp ones.
It produces some very very solid, dense nugget buds.

Dinafem og kush has a much heavier earthy smell, and more of an earthy skunky taste in comparison to others...

Like Tahoe was very fuel like, DNA/rp is very strong skunk funk with like a chemically/cleaner/citrus hint along with the skunk pungency, less fuel than Tahoe for sure. That was for both the og kush and og 18 keepers too from those guys. Even their Strawberry-Banana is more skunky than the Dinafem ogk.

The Dinafem og kush is a very indica seed version of an og kush. It had a great high too though... Very little tolerance build up like it should be, and even though it's so indica, the high is still balanced well. Just leans indica, but very long lasting.
With a long veg, good topping skills, and growing it the way it wants... It's easy as hell to control this plant though. Very simple to get four even height tops going. Add the extreme density of the buds n u can make this one quite a heavy yeilder.

BTW the DNA/rp og/og18 go like 10-11+ weeks flower.
The Dinafem ogk is done in 9-10 weeks at the most.

P.S. Dinachem is a gem btw imo/ime. Love it. That is more "real" chemdawg genes I'd say than the ogk of theirs. Still a great strain tho.

Real report !!! Good job the dinafem version is an og cut gifted to them by hso it was crossed and backcrossed she a pain in veg she remind me of la con from dna in structure and the strech is barely x2

I almost said that exact phrase. Just like LA con in veg. Haha spot on there. I just chose to compare it to bubba kush. Thx bud! I'll try for pics soon.

The one I just threw in flower last night has a mutation.

It's so apically dominant right... Well one side branch of of a main stem(topped into two heads this round, its off one of the two tops's main branch) ... Is actually connected to the main stem for a couple inches until it seperates and does like normal. So where its node is from it looks like it was removed and the main stem is wide there and a couple inches up a branch finally comes out.
That's some insane apical dominance! :)

So this is supposed to be the emerald og kush right? I believe emerald triangle released it along side their own line, or is it hso that carries the lost coast og and I'm mistaken... Hmm I'll go look.

BTW a lil extra info...

Had a wonderful capt crypt og leaning smelly cherry - by the Breeder's Boutique. The og-ness and structure of buds was very similar to my og 18. Had a "fireballs" too, which is fire alien kush x cherry puff. So mostly og but a bit of indica in there too. Still not like the Dinafem ogk. It's a unique ogk imo (sounds like the hso one would be same). Gives a more sedating high, yet balanced, and is so much easier to tame than alot of others with its hardy indica structured self. It stretches less too like madininagyal mentioned. Even that fireballs and smelly cherry both stretch more than this emerald og if that's what Dinafem n Hso have

Those two have a lot of indica in the hybrid too, so its perplexing that the Dinafem ogk is so different, even though it's also a indica heavy og strain.

O yea its a great plant for small places too.

So glad to see corresponding info that sounds right, much less nearly the same!
Told ya them things were awfully uniform and homogeneous seed to seed :). (Most Dinafem is ime)

This could simply mean they r being very careful not to say they have originals.
It is simply them being gifted cuts, then breeding them out and choosing one to feminized.
Trust me the dinachem is very true chemdawg. The only non chem in it was put there by that guy who made star dawg and tres dawg(gauva chem is a pheno of it). An afghan was added in for vigor, then they backcrossed that back into the chem again several times.

Skunk mag has a "milf" on "star dawg" and calls the guava pheno "guava diesel ". And also claim its tres dawg x chem D or something similar... Like both chem D and chem 4 are in it. I always thought just chem 4 in that line, and then dinachem took an original chem 91 to the guava chem/diesel

Actually found the Dinafem ogk article, they only say they want to add more USA genes and will be and that the og kush was just the beginning...

High times is praising their breeders abilities and knowledge as well, especially with autofems.

I even have a skunk mag with an interview with Dinafem in it... No where can I find its just " their version".

My last run of Dinafem ogk was a lot like the cold creek kush I just picked...

Lots of blades on sativa looking leaves, vs the spear shaped blades , usually in 3's on the dinachem and DNA/RP ogk og18 I have both.

It was more sativa than the last ones. But still very similar.
I may still like my og18 better , but it's hard to even compare them.
It was much more potent this run.
Also stretched lots more.

I still have a seed left if not 2.
I'll be using a OG18 x blue pit male(Breeder's Boutique) I made and hit a Dinafem ogk and see what comes of it.

If you can, I'd suggest trying dinachem. I plan to use some pollen on that soon too.

Critical+ and Blue widow have been great to me as well. Still have a cut of the BW. Very very stinky strain.

Big props to a seed company who deserves it unlike some of these folks.
