RR's and clonex brings me outstanding results in a dome. Over 90% alot of times they all make it most of the time. Maybe I'm lucky but I tried it the 1st time and had 19 out of 20make it, and have had similar results ever since. (3yrs).too much space devoted to supplies, diff. ph/nute solutions, and bugs... after 2-3yrs battling mites, I dont want to risk it... I dont want to run both systems again...
Unless I have to, my clone skill seems to have dropped off with the new year... cant root a damn thing

I tried that method just a couple weeks ago, I didn't give them but less than 7 days. And I ended up throwing them out. But I wonder if they would have rooted that would have been awesome. I grow up in the country, farmland working on farms growing up. And that's al a lot of people I know route flowers and such. What kind of hydro do you do?
Aero cloners are basically 100% for me. Do you have an extra water pump laying around? Bubble cloning works as well, $15 at Walmart and you've got supplies for a bubble cloner.
Water cloning works as well, just much slower. A cutting in a glass of water. My parents used to root flowers this way on the kitchen window sill when I was growing up...
I generally run 5gal dwc buckets, i have 3.5gal cloner, but think it may need better sprayers, its never done well. I ended up using that + root riot cubes back when I was first starting out... worked but took ages, and allows no dome to keep humidity high... I have grown so used to my 4" rockwool w/ hydroton, growing from seed like a lazy bastard for too long....What kind of hydro do you do?

I only grow in soil, period. There are some soil lovers out there. Hydro just gets you faster results. No love for soil.

Better is in the eyes of the person who is smoking, IMO. I would tend to agree with you as a soil grower, I *think* I get better tasting bud, less chemical taste, etc...Faster but not better
