If you think its fair to have others put time and work and money into something for you AND think they dont deserve something in return then i could say your the douchebag... says very clear in your bold print "at others expense"
Giving meds to a dispensary IS going to happen or the dispensary will not make it past first year. So whether i do it or someone else does it, not much of a difference and not much of anyone elses concern.

What makes you a douchebag? The blanket statement, and therefore targeting of patients of which you've seemingly put into the same category, expecting something for nothing. There may be a few rare ones on RIU that expect it to just be given to them, or paid for.. but our community for the most part is a ton of members who grow their own, or are willing to pay for what they can not grow. There's my .02 on it. I wouldn't have given you the trophy had you not blindly thrown the blanket statement down with minimal to no research whatsoever as to a majority of RIU users - just so we're on the same page. Nothing against you, just thought that your statement was more than a bit of bullshit is all.

If i wanted or needed advice on HOW TO grow 5 lbs i would make a thread for it... if i wanted opinions on if its moral to grow meds and ask for compensation then i would make a thread for it...

Also, to see if i did decide to take the checks and paid taxes on it would the IRS come after me because the checks were part of an illegal transaction federally.

Yes, if they wanted to do so, they could go after producers of that dispensary (usually the ones with shady backgrounds and criminal operations)~ Unlikely.. but you never know with those guys...
Yes, the IRS could go after you for those checks (even if you paid taxes), federal law is stuck on stupid.. That is why the majority of individuals who work in this industry do not accept checks~ But I have not heard of the IRS actively pursuing those individuals who actually paid taxes, they usually go after those (who do not)

Btw, judging by your attitude you must be a legal patient. (no pun intended to patients, just the ones that think having a card makes them above all else and time and meds should be free at someone elses exspense)

So i responded by saying judging by his attitude he must be a patient then i used "()" to say nothing against other patients but the ones who seem to have an attitude towards people who recieve compensation for something that has money, time and work involved in it seems to have the same attitude.
As for a blanket statement? I dont think it was at all. I got to the point and if you cannot se anything in context that is not my problem as the comment was not ment for you. Also, please re-read it again that YOU put in bold. Says clear as day NO PUN INTENDED TO ALL PATIENTS "just".... so again it was targeted to select few NOT all patients...
So if anyones comment was not "researched" as you said, it would be yours. Therefore, also making the "trophy" yours.

You could go that route with the llc and do taxes like that through garden. But if you ever get checked out by irs, you already lost. Thats why dispensary deal with cash, no trail at all, then you can stay legal on the books. Even at 100k a year off growing I would stash cash, and launder it through legit business. Its nowhere near the time to do your taxes, talking about gardening, but the real hustle is manufacturing an illegal substance in federal law. Atleast say you mow lawns, but think better.

In Colorado the banks have shut down dispensary business bank accounts due to federal threats

i agree with this guy. Avoid checks or ask that they be made out to cash. The Federal Government is who you should be worried about. They will be glad you paid taxes on your illegal business and they will use those same tax dollars to arrest you. I think that you should avoid putting your business out there until it is 100% legal at all levels.
