DIY CFLS reflectors

I was bored today so i decided to make a new reflector =D. Anyways, all the materials you can find at home (nothing special).

- 1x big water bottle (the one that goes into the water tank)
- aluminum tin foil
- knife
- tape

I know a stoner can come up with something better then that...

second is proof that its DIY.

like i said, the materials i used can be easily found at home. But, if you wanted to make a more "effective" reflector, you can replace the tin foil with whatever is better (mylar, white paint, etc). Not gonna lie though, i think my reflector is pretty awesome. =D
 
minus the fact that the tin foil will create hot spots and burn and possibly kill your plants ... ITS AWESOME

ya for real it looks like you got really high as just started grabbin shit:eyesmoke: it doesn't take a genius to think of something like that. i just wouldn't think to do it
 
i made a foil reflector my first time. Not sure if it worked... I just use flat white paint now. Not the best but it's clean and doesnt get dirty so fast. The second guys reflector was tight, i wanna know what the shiny surface was made of.

thanks buddy =D it was mylar, yes it looks like tin foil but thats only because of how many lights there are and the spray adhesive under it started to like... come undone/make the mylar bubble.
 
he deserves some rep for that. Hell if its all you got it still works.. Ive used tin foil before and never got any burns so props to you!

all im saying is, this is a fucked up system we got goin on here... he spent about... 20 minutes TOPS on that, I spent about 2-3 hours on mine if not more... and he gets reps haha
