For a quantum? Why do you think it needs one?Thinking , I'm gonna do a reflector for my builds , i've been doing some mock ups of the shape

Budz it looks great ! I know with my 2 board build I can't run it at max with the two autos I have flowering. There just isn't enough canopy of plants for the light at max. Right now I'm at 150W total, 75W per board in a 2x2.5.Day 33 - Blue Dream
50watt panel - Quantum
So far this little panel has been amazing . I do have more plants in tent with this main one and all are growing well. The GG4 is beginning to stack up and will highlight that one in a few days.

I began working on two NEW separate builds , one centering around THIS panel which will be modified ....
I expect the last of my parts tomorrow and will highlight those builds in a few days.
Yep,For a quantum? Why do you think it needs one?

The next round I'm going full on scrog with a Nirvana Papaya to fill the tent with canopy.
Oh and for the doubters and naysayers in the past. Not only do the boards veg but they flower well too.
Interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing your grow with it in place.Yep,
Simple sloped one much like the old hydrofarm hood
The boards blast alotta light out the sides be nice to reflect that down
I don't want optics as I like the spread just wanna reflect that side blast
I've got my kit qt on top of my refer in the kitchen the side blast lights the whole room as the refer is in a corner
anywhere from 25-35w per sq ft in flowerAlso to anyone who knows COB grows. What the consensus on Watts per sq ft in Veg and in Flower ? I know there are a lot of variables but would like to know a ball park.
I generally recommend 20W/sq ft for highly efficient LED setups (25% or less of peak output per chip) to 40W/sq ft for LED pushed hard. I'm running my COB LED at 37.5W/sq ft and it's borderline excessive. Also to anyone who knows COB grows. What the consensus on Watts per sq ft in Veg and in Flower ? I'm running 900W over 24 sq ft at 56% efficiency, with 80° glass lenses. I'm pushing them hard, no doubt about it.i'm with @ttystikk 37.5w/sq ft is a bit excessive. that's what my
second tent is running and they're not really happy if they get
within 12" of the lights. it's 300w at 50% efficiency in a 8 sq ft tent.
@robincnn you have prolly answered this a time or two but I just thought I'd get ur opinion
I wanna do a rack system in my closet it's two by two
I was thinking four boards two on top level and two on bottom and wanna use two drivers
Would these work https://cobkits.com/product/meanwell-hlg-120h-48a/ or what's your recommendation
Sorry for not paying great attention I guess lol the things that makes these boards great is they are easy for diy dummies like me I wouldn't know how to wire them either and I still get series and parallel confused but these things make it so easy
There was a recent GrowMau5 video where he realized he was pushing too much light on theI'm running 900W over 24 sq ft at 56% efficiency, with 80° glass lenses. I'm pushing them hard, no doubt about it.
